Was at the game Plymouth has to be the deepest small 1A school around don't think anyone went both ways except #23. Congrats great season
No we don't have an early college and never had one.
Just checking. I've heard that a small 1a school can't possibly be that deep with talent unless they are funneling students to an EC and playing down a level.
Congratulations to the Vikings . Smacked us in the mouth early and we were two away most of the game. Our boys rallied back too late in the game. The good news for your championship opponents next year is that #2 and #10 are seniors this year.

If that didn't apply to you then no need to respond. But let's not act like this board isn't full of people with excuses when there team losses.. I respect Robbinsville football, but not all the fans. This Plymouth team was again a underdog and I for one didn't think they were capable of what happened Saturday! They overachieved, I'm so proud and happy for this team. If I sounded a little bitter, it's because I am. Every year we hear we play nobody and it gets old. So to all the people who think they know about football in the weak Ole Eastern side of the state, that's another one for the good guys, lol... we may not always be as deep on the east, but it has become obvious that the top of the east is very comparable to that of the west. . Viking Pride!
I understand bitter, some west fans might be bitter about the gauntlet called the western region as opposed to the tiptoe through the tulips in the east.
Call it what you want.. 2015 1A CHAMPS are the PLYMOUTH VIKINGS.. we will just keep tip toeing thru the tulips while yall keep beating each other up. Doesn't look like that logic of being tested in the regular season making you better in the post season.. lmbo..
That tulip field included South Creek and Southside. Those teams would have had a good chance of winning Saturdays game also. Maybe the west isn't all it's cracked up to be. Just saying!
No doubt. I was referring to this season. SMC is a top notch conference. Just letting everyone know we play a little football east of I-85. Most football fans with a good working knowledge of the game realize Plymouth can hang with the West.

Taking nothing away from Plymouth,they took care of business and congrats to them.But in my opinion the SMC was a little down this year from what we have come to expect.
In the words of Lee Corso, "Not so fast my friend"! Murphy will be a beast the next two or three years, and the SMC as a whole will never go away. May take some time off every once in a while, but it will never disappear. So let's not get carried away. Having said that, congrats on the win! Your boys earned it and I'm not upset at all that they won. Plymouth earned my respect in 2012 and 2013. They are as good as anyone in the west in 1a pretty much every year.
Well I surely would expect the SMC to continue to represent the west, but as far as dominating the 1A rankings, its a thing of the past. The 1A playing field has been leveled and I think its gonna be a back an forth battle year after year.. You know how much more this victory meant since it was ROBBINSVILLE! Plymouth is nothing. Tell them to move to 1aa and play. Wallace, jk, tarboro. IMO I don't think the could beat Lakewood, union, or rosewood and etc Plymouth got it made in 1a. I know they are glad wallace moved back up. They use to get blew out by wallace
Its just adding one more delusional voice to the list over the years saying SMC "dominance" is over . They been saying that since Lyndon Johnson was president. SMC is working on a 6 year streak of having at least 1 or more teams in the state championships......All signs are pointing to Murphy and Swain getting back to being Murphy and Swain again very shortly. SMC aint going nowehere. No, the SMC isn't gonna win state every single year. But the SMC will almost always have a say in who does.......That aint changing....
Wallace is a great large 1-A team. Truth be told, they are a 2-A team, and will play as such in 2017. Plymouth is the 10th smallest football playing school. I guess that might have something to do with sub dividing the classes. Oh, by the way, Plymouth played Lakewood last year in the playoffs. We know how that went, so your post is somewhat invalid. Wallace only gets to play down one more season. I guess someone didn't clear the paperwork with Joey before it was submitted. You should do well, it's a great program.
