Playoff Predictions

One of the first round playoff projections has Red Springs (Robeson County) at Brevard (Transylvania County). According to Google it's a distance of 248 miles, slightly farther than it is from Lincolnton to Atlanta, A long drive for an early playoff game.
Once in awhile it seems like there are a few eastern teams such as Red Springs and South Columbus who end up in the western bracket and have to make a long trek. Lincolnton was at Red Springs, once and they were here another year. I suppose it happens to some border teams from the west, too.

Wow.... Shelby to the big....that will be interesting...but I like Lincolntons chances in the little....
Shelby will roll. They aren't ranked 8th in the state for nothing. I would be shocked if they are even tested.
Shelby to 2-AA is a speculative geuss at best. They have Lincolnton in 2-A. Let's compare. Lincolnton adm is 846 while Shelby's is 851 students. Pretty close to identical. I think either Shelby stays 2-A or Lincolnton moves to 2-AA as well

Yes and Maxpreps has Shelby 8th in the state including all classifications. That's what I was referencing.
Yes. Plus a possible second round matchup with NCC member Hertford County. Not a fan of conference opponents playing each other in rounds one through three
Uh this just sucks and alot eastern teams have 3 games to play. These seeding aren't even close to what will actually occur so nobody should get their panties in a wad
I guess that includes Lincolnton as well.....Lol...just hate that drive up....whew... Also saw red springs versus brevard....that's a possible 2 day trip...wow
Where did you get your numbers? From what I have heard Lincolnton's number is somewhere around 818.
Would love any scenario where Clinton gets to play Bunn again this time in DH Stadium......funny how those Bunn posters who had soooo much to say after game last year have not been seen so far this year.....they know a storm is coming
Games most DarkHorses would love to see in the DarkHorses playoff journey, Bunn, East Duplin, and Shelby. It most likely will happen
Come on now, why you gotta bring that up? Lol you guys ran all over us and then went to East Lincoln and fumbled 87 times.
Clinton will find out what kind of team we have next week vs WRH. Then after that game we will know how good we really are. Also, I would say most clinton people want to see Bunn again, most would love to see ED in the playoffs, Most honestly though wouldn't mind seeing anyone but Shelby in the championship game if we are lucky enough to make it that far again.
I respectfully disagree i would love for Clinton to get another crack at Shelby.....to be the best u have to beat the best right.....if we make it to the big game i would love to see us play Shelby,Monroe,or East Lincoln
