First I don't care whether you pull for us or not.You may be right about that score. But win or lose
on Friday.Any year we beat the Mounties it's a good year no matter what happens in the playoffs.

That is pretty sad, dude.

It's no secret that FV will be a tough team. Who knows what will happen its high school football. The Bears will prepare and play with everything they've got in the tank;this you can be sure of. As far as having to score 40, I highly doubt they'll have to.
Bears held Franklin scoreless for 3qtrs and led Erwin 17-0. These two teams can score on anyone.
The key is for Pisgah to play keep away. Long drives, shorting the game. If Pisgah can't get first downs they'll be in trouble. Which is no secret either.
FV's D-line looks good in the video clips on maxpreps. Their "D" swarms to the ball good. Pisgah will have to keep them guessing for sure. Hopefully Pisgah can contain Moe and not let him into the open.

91, that end of the county is closer to being oceanfront than we are, hence your football team. Hey ya reckon some those retirees could bring some of their grandchildren up to help out? You know since Florida is full of 4 and 5 star recruits.

mtnair, we got a play maker, thank you very much.

Just wait. If you don't have somebody down there that can reel that attitude in, you are going to have your hands full.

P24/7,

Yes, you do have one playmaker but he doesn't touch the ball much. Evidently, you have never watched a game west of Marion. There is not a kid in our conference that will compare to the Forestview RB. Best of luck to the Bears. I know your kids will play hard and that's all you can ask.

91ths -So lets see you want to pull for us.Last week you predicted Bears would lose by seven. Now we will lose by 21.Sure is a crazy way to pull for someone. With your record it would really worry me if you predicted us to win.

Just wait on what? For you guys to shit out some football players? Our play maker is happy as a clam.
FV's running back may beat us but the Bears won't lay down. Unlike another team we know.

91, you may be living inside me but it ain't in my head. You are 3 months behind on your rent and you sir are evicted...where's my reading material.

LETS GO BEARS!!

I hardly believe Forestview is over rated, they posted a 10-2 record and you play who is on your schedule, yes Kings Mountain beat them but it was early in the year. We will have our hands full. I hope for a good game we have to come out ready to play and play a full 4 quarters to win

FV had injuries in that loss to km, don't let that fool anybody. Whoever said fv is overrated is sadly mistaken, they're a quality team with athletes all over the field. I see fv winning this by 3 or so td's. Hope the Pisgah faithful have a safe trip down, good luck to both teams.

Just curious here...you Pisgah guys know who to look for in Moe Neal. Is there a Pisgah kid us down her in Gaston County should keep an eye on?

Nobody really, just a bunch of average football players on an average football team. You guys will probably be able to rest ol' Moe after halftime. You will hear Colton Shuler and Trevor Johnson's names a lot I'm sure.

See there Rockstrong, nothing to worry about y'all got this one. I'm sure there will be more jump on here and tell ya how average or below average Pisgah is. If I were you I'd tell FV's coaches to practice their 2nd and 3rd stringers plenty this week.

I am sure they will get practice this week, just like yours will.
Hope everyone has a safe trip.
I expect to see a good game, and it will be nice to see a team we have never played before.

Showtime92: If Forestview beats Pisgah and loses to Crest next week, then they will be EXPOSED as a team that wasn't expected to win their conference, lost a lot of seniors from a team that made it to the semis last year, and got farther than anyone expected this season.

WNCAC may be weak, but 3 teams are still in the playoffs and 2 of those teams were not high seeds so whats that tell you about the other conferences down state.

So where should a fella eat at in Gastonia?
Local eats:
RO's BBQ
Tony's Ice Cream (hamburgers and hotdogs, shakes)
Several of Mexican places
Villa Roma on Union Rd (local Itailan, pretty good) - pretty close to Forestview

Right along I-85 at Gastonia are Outback, Cracker Barrel, IHOP, Ruby Tuesday, Olive Garden, Bojangles, etc.

If you are coming down 74, I would also recommend Bridges BBQ in Shelby.

I guess you can tell, I like to eat!

Villa Roma is pretty good. Also have the Jag Grill close to school but probably be closed not too long after lunch. There is a Mexican place about 5 minuets from the school that's good I can try to get address if you like. I had shrimp boat for dinner tonight and that's also an easy find and route to the school.

Thanks for the info on the restaurants fellas. Another question, does the stadium have two gates or just one? Where would be the best place for parking for the visitors side?

You got that right. God that conference is terrible.

One gate, big parking lot (home and visitors all park together).

Hope the crowd will be bigger this week. Last week was cold and playing the same team 2 weeks in a row did not help. Looking forward to the game this week. Go Jags

Yep we commented (both weeks) that the home crowd was really small.

Forestview (even in these past 2 years) has not been known to put out big crowds unless we are talking about Ashbrook and South Point. But last week's home crowd was pathetic. That was probably the worst turnout I have seen these past few years especially for a playoff game.

I spoke with a coach very familiar with Pisgah and he said that Forestview would win this game easily. Pisgah will not be able to handle Forestview's speed.

See you at the Ranch next week Forestview

OK Pisgah faithful here's a link to bamas highlight film from his playing days on "Th hill" as he calls it. Link:____... Yep that's right he didn't have one..you gotta play to have one..guess you never got in the right mindframe to... #stirringthpot# #wouldrunlikeascaredrabbit# #keeponrockin#

I am not that impressed. Looks average to me. We have numerous players faster than that.

LOL !!

The WNCAC might be the worst in the state from top to bottom, but it's awful "top heavy." mbdfan, Franklin has basically been WNCAC and SMC Conference Champions at the very least last 3 or 4 years, but you guys keep forgetting to send our trophy and banner. I mean, not that we would display it...but at least we'd have it. Have you guys forgotten the address for Franklin High School? I'd be more than happy to share it with you.

That is impressive. You beat up on a munch of slow 1A teams every year.

BAMA, don't worry about us(Pisgah). Y'all need to worry about your 24 kids in your program and the start of basketball season.
