Both! They needed to land a big fish considering the coach down the road has just won 2 state Championships. Instead to go with a 1st time HC. Could've gotten coach Hall from Dudley who use to be their OC during the Rolfes era. I heard he interviewed but he turned them down at the end because of how messed up their administration is
From what I hear, the guy is in way over his head. I understand that he was hired to get kids in the school, but what is the appeal there? Grimsley has better coaches, better overall facilities, and want to win. I get the hire to maintain some semblance of cohesion, but coaching does matter. I hear it will me much more of the same for the Pirates this year.

Well I stated when he was hired it was dumb to hire a position coach to run that program and especially one who is immature from what I have heard
Popping wheelies in downtown Greensboro or public roads with four wheelers and dirt bikes and posting on snapchat and other social media
Are you directing that at what I said about this coach or you just making a broad statement?
this is a bunch of crap!!!!!!!!!!! In over his head????? That is not what we've been hearing.
No news is good news, under Robertson, it was usually coaches leaving or kids leaving. we havent heard any of that type of stuff over the past 2 off seasons so far............ according to twitter the young defensive lineman is getting recognition, and the kids are staying and developing..... heard in a greensborosports interview that coach summers is actually still playing football, he is the qb/rb for the carolina cobras in the NAL league, coach has 9 total tds so far this season. coach called some of the plays last season, and the offense took many steps in the right direction.

if you mean 4 to 6 wins, like last year...? prolly so..... page still in the budding phase of rebuilding (again) that qb and rb are both rising sophs
if you mean, what we saw in from the robertson regime, youre more than likely wrong on that one....
I think western played some of the best football i've seen them play in quite a while last year at times, and he did state that page is rebuilding. That can happen while rebuilding
Yeah but with Robertson they at least beat the crap out of western….I do agree with you that western was a lil better last year but I don’t think it’s that big of a difference
Robertson is too old school for some peoples liking.
do you even watch any of the metro conference games? western guilford was extremely senior heavy last year and probably played their best game of the season against a very young page team. a recipe for a close game. if anything it just shows you how special this group of young page players can be in another year or so.... because hey... they still won the game........ page almost lost blah blah........ there was one snapchat post of the coach popping a wheelie on a private street, come on man grow up, im sure he learned his lesson... people make mistakes. page's ceiling is much higher than you care to admit, and these coaches seem to be doing the right thing to turn things around.

Page has some good young talent though, I think the wr is a division 1 prospect. The Qb and the running back were freshman. They will be good if they add some transfers and everyone sticks together.
No transfers will come in that school over Dudley and Grimsley and that team staying together is questionable
I believe Page will be fine. Will they be a contender this coming season? Probably not. Does that mean they aren't headed in the right direction? No! I could be wrong but i believe Page will be back competitive in the next couple of years. From what I hear, the kids like playing for him and honestly that's all that matters right now. From the outside looking in, we can say whatever we want about him but as long as he's employed and he has their attention, the potential to continue turning it around is there
That’s what I don’t think he has is there attention anymore….kids see thru BS pretty quickly
