My home town is Richmond, Va. I think HS will be looking for their 5th straight state title this year. Will be a tough one for page. The Springers have speed.

A Highland Springs supporter gave this information regarding the Springers on another message board.

"I strongly believe that Highland Springs took on an aggressive schedule this season so they could be challenged throughout the season. As they should! Taking on Oscar Smith, North Stafford, Manchester, Colonial Forge and Page, this alone is a huge challenge. Then we have traditionally strong district foes Henrico and Varina. I hope these teams know what challenge they will have too!!!!
HSHS the past 5 years:
2014 Finished 11-1 loss to eventual State Champ LC Bird 25-23
2015 Finished 14-1 State Champion
2016 Finished 14-1 State Champion
2017 Finished 14-1 State Champion
2018 Finished 15-0 State Champion
68-4 in 5 years!!! For the upcoming 2019 campaign, HS returns all but 1 starting offensive linemen! Nearly the entire starting Defense. Upcoming Jr. QB (Notre Dame offer), Noted high caliber WRs and plethora of more than adequate RBs and DEEP with excellent talent!!! It's going to be fun!
