Hamrick lived up to the hype tonight. Melton is a rising superstar.
One win over a team with a winning record. 6-5 Montgomery Central.
Montgomery Central is the second or third to worst team in the conference. OGs biggest tale of the tape was a loss to 4A West Forsyth. The conference was horrible this year as a whole except for OG. ND played a 4A nonconference schedule for the most part but no excuses. Moving in a better direction was all anyone could hope for after the last three years... enough about that.
Crest doesn't have the size of WF but they have way better athletes. Crest will be favored despite the records. Crest will be the best team OG has played this year.

Better than west Forsyth? Maybe, but that’s not a foregone conclusion

My thoughts are OG is not as good as they were two years ago and Crest is better than two years ago.
Don’t matter who is favored , glad we have a second round game , OG you are in the way

The connection with WRs was better tonight
I've seen all three. As I said, WF has better size on the line. Crest has better athletes. Maybe I should have said Crest will be the most talented team OG has played.
For what it's worth, West barely won tonight in round one 4A. WF is a school with almost 2500 kids and ND with 1400-1600 used to beat them more often than not. They're a big dog with a tiny bite year in and year out with few exceptions. When they play outside of Forsyth County in 4A they usually get blasted by good teams.

I'm an OG fan, but I think they'll need to play their best game of the year to hang with Crest.
A victory would be sweet however, given the Crest fans coming straight out of the gate with the sh.. talking. LOL
