NW Guilford v Reidsville

Maybe we will get alittle help since they are playing Monday night. Short week, but I'm sure being 4A that they have lots of players. I think we will be competitive, as long as we see continued improvement with the recent chages.

Hoping for a good, injury free game.

Vikings have a couple of dynamic receivers -- a 6-3 soph and a 6-2 junior -- who will test the Reidsville defense.

Hoping to get one of the guilford county boys. This one will be tough, but I think we are capable of pulling it out. Rams should be pretty well rested.

DB.'s for the Rams in previous games have been playing way off the receivers...as much 10 yds....that's too much and unless we get an unbelievable pass rush we will pay for that alignment......

Well, coaches (both Rams and opponents) are aware of the CBs playing way off the line of scrimmage.
I understand CBs are coached to play about 7 yds off line of scrimmage. Maybe we will see adjustment against NW Guilford. If we don't, NW will go right at the CBs when they need to move the ball.

Northwest has defeated 0-4 Greensboro Smith (35-0), 1-4 Western Guilford (66-25) and 3-1 Southeast Guilford (19-6) but lost to Northern Guilford (21-13). They are favored to beat 2-3 Grimsley tonight so they'll come to Reidsville with a nice 4-1 record.
Shaping up as a close game if Rams can control Vikings' passing game. Northwest won 24-21 last year.
