North Surry vs Surry Central

This is probably the biggest game of the year for North. As Bareman said the loser is probably out of the playoffs. Not sure what to expect out of SC we handled them pretty easily at the 7 on 7 but they did beat MT. Airy and we didn't Hopefully the QB will have better protection and the offense can stay on the field this week to help the defense out.
Went about like I figured it would tonight but it went a little differently by the end.
We played solid across the board really. Offense we produced in different ways but the D played awesome and at their best since West Stanly. We scooped and scored on the first play and that set the tone then we had that 20 yard sack into a safety. If we subtract our minor mistakes on D we would have allowed only 6 or 0. Offensively they gave us a lot of running room so we ran it more than usual but we were able to drive solidly and take time off the clock in the 2nd half when we needed to. We drove 9 min of clock time away in the 3rd and 4th quarter. Central tried to do it but they couldn't.
I agree with Greydog with that we needed to step it up this week and I felt we did solidly on both sides. Team was fired up and ready to play and it came out well. We need to take care of business next two weeks but it feels great to be playoff eligible again. Plus getting a win over a county rival is great as well.

Oh well you could be right, I heard we needed to win to have a better chance and we did that.
We already got enough wins. You need 4 to be eligible but if you get more than 5 you have a better shot. We were on the base eligible after we beat West Stanly but last night helped.
We just gotta take care of business the next two weeks and do our jobs so we don't get a crap draw in the lower range.
