Southeast Alamance is in the east.

The only 2a eastern team that should sniff the top 10 is Northeastern. Yes I’m a homer but it’s just the honest truth. Hate em or love they are loaded and are much better than last season’s team. The east is way down this season

Yeah I agree. I think NE should be higher. Like Top 3. They are the real deal. Goob you make it hard for me to root for them but the are the facts are the facts. You guys have returned nearly everyone from last year and look really good. I think JK is the only other team that could #10. The east is down and all the teams that people were high on are just simply not good.

Thanks, I know some don’t care for my posts on here but that’s just because they don’t know me. I have a few very good friends from down south that I talk to frequently off these boards. They know the real me and know I just say dumb stuff that makes no sense to try and get a reaction. I actually go to some of these posters homes and hangout. Love these guys and their families. I have toned it down some this season and thats not easy for me to do knowing just how good we are. This may just be the year

It should be an interesting game between North Pitt and West Craven. Famous better be careful tossing the ball around. RJ Lancaster and Jimmy Green will autograph those balls for him. I wish our QB was healthy and able to play. No way they would beat us. Hopefully our backup can get some sense of comfortable playing the position this week. I hate that I’m going to miss this game. Going to be in Columbus Saturday to watch OSU. Going to stop in Huntington WV Friday night and watch their high school game.

Fun fact….Monroe is the only team ranked in the top 5 from a year ago and this year as well.

Every year the east gets mad that they dont have enough ranked and every year no matter who the west sends the best the east has to offer usually gets blanked.

Stop asking to be ranked higher, you could send the 12th best team in the west and the best team in the east would probably still lose....USUALLY. You have a problem with that, come see me about it.

They should also be playing 3A ball, but due to this asinine realignment we have been in for the last four years they have been playing 2A.

So let's take 20-25
20. Lincolnton- they are 4-4 with an RPI of .50, Martin County has an RPI of .60 and they are 6-2 and currently sits at 3 in the East RPI
21. East Surry- currently 5-2 with an RPI of .55, South Columbus has an RPI of .56 and is 8-1 sitting at 9 is the East RPI
22. West Lincoln- currently 5-3 with an RPI of .51 and is 23 in west RPI rankings, Midway is 7-1 and has an RPI of .55 and is sitting at 10 in the East RPI
23. Anson- 4-4 with an RPI of .52 and actually moved up a spot in the rankings from last week after getting owned by Monroe 55-0. North Pitt is 5-3 with a .57 RPI and is 5th in the East RPI rankings
24. SE Alamance- in the East anyways
25. North Stanly- 5-3 with an RPI of .55 they will be out of the playoffs by round 2. Roanoke Rapids is 5-3 with a .57 RPI they could just as easily be ranked here as NS.

Obviously I know that the playoffs are going to determine the end results because that is what everyone focuses on, but while the regular season is happening and there is a comprehensive list of East and West RPI rankings, it would a little better to put some parity in these rankings throughout the year. Once the playoffs shake out and the brackets start and end results happen then the final rankings should reflect the toughness of the road that had to be taken to get where they are got to.

Since 2002 Reidsville has won 10 state titles. 5 times representing the West and 5 times representing the East. They have also finished as runner up 3 other times. 2 times from West and 1 time from the East.

Truthfully Reidsville has been in a league of their own. That's one team. Respectfully, if you were to take them away, the East would win more state titles. Take last year for example, they won the western final by 40. LOL

Well nobody can do what we do at Northeastern. We consistently are ranked top 10 overall 2a year n and year out. We are routinely top 1-3 in the east. We are one of the most talked about and most hyped up teams in all of 2a every season. All that being said we have yet to win a state championship 😞. We are the champs at always coming up short, nobody does it better. Now we’ll just have to wait and see if this trend continues. I personally think there’s a good chance that we break the curse this season.
