Another great game in the Northwest 1a conference. North gets another victory in a hard fought game. The Vikings win by a score of 53 to 48 in overtime. The Sauras played a great game controlling the tempo. South missed several free throws in overtime that could have changed the outcome. North steps out of conference on Wednesday night to play cross county rival West Stokes. Game is at North.

North can still win the conference or force a 2-way tie for 1st if they don't lose another Boys game. Bishop has a loss and if WSPrep gets beat by NS and 1 more. Looking at it ever who wants it worse in the top 3 can do it. Good luck.

Just an unbelievable basketball conference for 1A. So much parity. South has been right there against Bishop, and an OT loss to North Stokes. Wow. Every team in the conference is good enough to win playoff games IMO. It’s still not right to have private/open enrollment schools in there, but maybe the traditional schools can make a run at the conference this year. Go Vikings.
