You can have athletic, strong kids, but you can’t have that kind of size across the board on the lines and be successful against really good teams. You can “hang in there”, but that’s about all. That’s why the lowered expectations. There is nothing in the world to do to fix it this year...now that’s over. Till will need to start work on the bigs now for next year.

the only thing you contributed to this thread was picking the wrong team to win now you running it. He made a comparison to Scotland get ya panty out of a wad.
No need to remind us!! This Raider defense has given up the most points in a season than any other Richmond team in school history! Has to get better...because it can't get any worse.

You give up 271 yards rushing to one kid youhave a defensive issue. He is a good back but he is not White or Crouch. He got 54 yards against MC . One run for 42 and averaged less than 1 yard a carry beyond that.
North Meck is a good solid team. Well coached, stud back and a couple of kids who will hit you. Before Richmond game they had beaten 1 team with a winning record this year. Including Catholic they are the 6th or 7th best team in Meck county.
I really don't care how many rushing yds they gave up, i'm with the Scots turnover lost this Game.

I for one will never pull for the Scots. You may think we are the little brothers but we are the more successful brothers 7>1. Turnovers was the difference in the game our defense played well for the most part to keep it close. Threw for 430 last week but couldn't get woo this. Faced a better D this week.

Why is everyone praising nm and meck county teams like nm came here and somehow proved anything? This was junk vs crap to start with. Not trying to take jabs but these are two mediocre teams who had a close game. Nothing was proven other than nm was better on the night.
North Meck was 3-8 last year and won their 1st playoff game since 2006. 1st year coach Eric Morman who once played for Richmond. Travels and beats his old school.
I don't believe the NM or Richmond kids feel like junk or crap.

Well, i think it proves plenty but maybe most importantly for the 15 or 20 seniors on the North Meck team they get to play at least one more week of football for the last time in their lives. Pretty big deal
They done as much as could be expected this year... Good game guys...North Neck and Mallards Creek. With this new system or whatever, they might as well just do a final 4 like college. After the best teams rest a week it's obvious what happens next...good luck guys...
I think all points are valid and come into play here. Defense and size correlate somewhat for us this year and both need work. 5 turnovers will get you a loss 95% of the time in a game that close.

Yeah, I did pick the wrong score on that one. Richmond disappointed me. I did pick the 27 points North Meck scored though. I also messed up on East Forsyth and Mooresville. East won 34-6 and I picked East by 34-7.
I did predictions for 3A, 3AA, 4A and 4AA. Yeah I was only 43 out of 49. Only predicted 88% of them correctly. Hopefully I'll do better next time for you Mr,
