North Davidson vs Oak Grove

Well here we are. ND and OG both lost games to start the season and have went on a tear since. The question is who will win the conference title, and it is fitting that it comes down to the last game of the season. Up for stakes are bragging rights and a favorable seed in the playoffs.

Contrasting styles make it an interesting matchup. ND loves to air it out while letting the QB use his legs at times, and pounding it with the running back on occasion.

Oak Grove on the other hand loves to pound it and hammer it over and over. They have a two headed monster at running back and also like to hit you with the pass when they want a big play.

This game was huge last year and lived up to the hype in the first go round. The second game was a beat down of epic proportions. This year features just the fourth varsity game between these two but the rivalry is already for real.

This one will be epic for sure!! I expect this game to go a lot more like last year's first game (being close) than the second. ND has the advantage of throwing and OG running but you put too much emphasis on either and your gonna get burned. OG has been better this year at spreading the duties of carrying the ball. Last year was a Shewcow show and this year people focus on him and Blair blows past you. OG has a pretty good receiver in Sorenson. ND has come down off the pedestal they were on 2 years ago as untouchable in this conference, but they are still deadly. Jenkins is a very good dual-threat!! He has some great receivers and plenty to choose from when needed. From what I've seen both the offenses are pretty close to the same with a few different twists so should be GREAT game.
