North Davidson vs Asheville

As long as our D keeps performing I'm not concerned about total points scored by the O. What I want to see is execution and cutting down the turnovers...

Agreed on the turnovers, as seen in the Tabor game, will hurt you in a tight game. Would be nice to give the D some rest during the game, was surprised at their endurance last week.

Asheville fans have to be proud of that stellar behavior from their players. What was that 3 ejections and should have been a 4th. Pathetic behavior, straight up thug mentality and again an embarrassment to an otherwise fine city!

38-15 final, could have been 45-15 but we kneeled with class near the goal line with the subs in... Asheville got really hot tempered in the final quarter and the flags were flying left and right for personal fouls.

Defense was stellar again, just two lucky long pass plays for TDs, but they were never a threat; we were in control the whole game.

Bye week next week with the JV playing Oak Grove in the biggest JV game ever lol

I feel bad for coach burdette having to deal with these kids that not only aren't playing good football, but then want to act like morons. How do you deal with that? Id rather us go 0-11 than suck AND act like idiots

For the record and to be fair...the young man from Asheville who got ejected for arguing about the INT looked very justified for being upset. I was against the fence a few yards from the play and I promise it looked like an INT. Glad nobody got hurt (on either side).

I thought it may have been an INT myself live, but looking at the video, it appears that the ref got it right. The Asheville player looks to have the ball initially, but by the time they hit the ground, LaFlesh has it. See the first few seconds of the Asheville highlight.

Bang-bang play - tough call to make live. Either way, I don't think it changes the result, and it doesn't excuse some of the behavior from the Asheville kids. I understand they were frustrated. They were a long way from home on a Thursday night with practically no fan support and were getting outmanned. Hopefully it will be a learning experience for them.

As for ND, the offense looked much better, secondary needs to clean a few things up. Just have to stay focused despite the weak schedule coming up and keep getting better every week.

Props to the offense for executing this week. The D gave up a couple of big plays which will happen from time to time, but the O never let them get back in the game. Good show, lads.
