You can’t skip practice before the spring game to hold your team hostage. He didn’t have any contact with coaches when they were trying to get a hold of him. Word is a lot teammates where upset with what Nico did by skipping practice. Nico didn’t have a season last year to say he was worth 4 million. Nico father made it worse also by going on Twitter to say Pete Nikos was lying and calling him a $itch. Word is Dan Lanning called TN to tell them Nicos dad was shopping him around. Nico made 2 Million his freshman year to sit the bench and was going to make over 2 Million his Sophomore year. What makes me aggravated is TN went to bat for Nico when the NCAA was going after him to make him ineligible and took the NCAA to court. Heupel and TN had no choice but to let him walk. Nico was probably going pro after this year and his family and handler’s really hurt Nico with the advice they were giving him. Now Nico has to learn a whole new offense where ever he goes.

Lots of spin coming both ways. If he really did hold out because of the Lambo then it's something that will follow the rest of time.
Beyond that, I thought the system worked fine. The 20 yr old kid thought he was worth more and Tennessee said see ya. It would be real hard to pay him and put him back in the locker room. Huge culture problems if they do that.
These kids are all being advised on a short timeliness. At Tennessee, premium SEC program. Brilliant offensive mind in Hueppel. Sky is the limit. No he is perceived as a malcontent .Is he really gonna get a better deal?

Bill doesn’t want that drama. UNC just got a crystal ball for the South Alabama QB. Thought he’d go to Tenn, would be a huge get for UNC. Big dual threat kid.
