Actually this is being run by coach Barnes. He is re-fueling the Crest roster for another run in 2015 and looking for potential talent state wide. If you guys find any small kids that do not fit your model, please send them to SP and we will use them to whip your butts in the future. Sorry, but this was just too easy.

Is this necessary ? If a player is good, they will come get him.

That's true, and usually by their sophomore year by Div 1 schools. Jrs left over are usually taken from those not recruited by DIV1a (or whatever today's equivalent is) Those that do not generate much interest by this time may not be offered more than either a "walk on opportunity" or in other words, play for nothing, or offered "academic scholarship help" of a usually undetermined amount, if anything, by div 2 and lower classifications. And all the "combines" in the world aren't going to help you in almost all cases. Good advice that has had to be given to too many SR HS football players that you are not likely to hear at these events designed to take your $$ ....The time to play for the "team" at this point is over. It is no longer a sport, it is a JOB, and year round. The best you could hope for is to be a tackling dummy for those who ARE getting paid to play, far more likely than not. Either get paid for your effort or put away childish games.

There is a saying that there is no "I" in team, which may be true, but there sure as hell is a ME in that word. There is the time to put "ME" first.
