That’s a tough one. But the area is growing substantially. They will no doubt be 600+ soon. But would rather be at top of 2a than very bottom of 3a.
Yes it is growing however I would think the most growth would be in Liberty area, causing Providence Grove to balloon in numbers. The other one on 64 will probably benefit the numbers of JM and Chatham Charter. I'm not sure exactly how many students are going to come to Eastern Randolph from those two mega sites...

But professor, ER in 3A, back in long ago time known as when I was there, your side piece school Providence Grove was just a gleam in superintendent’s eyes…
Currently both those schools will be the smallest in this new era 3A. Things are going to be interesting in the next four years for sure, especially in all sports.
Anybody know how many of those are playing football? That's the real question isn't it. I don't think one a really matters. For other sports. When their whole football program is supporting the whole athletic budget for the school. I read they were trying to go with at least 32 in 1A. 16 aside. So hopefully some people will drop down to make that happen I think they're at 27 right now
From what I was able to translate out of what everybody has read, the association has ruled there will be 16 total teams in the 1A playoffs, not 16 teams per side
I heard they wanted 16 team brackets on each side. But you're right it's probably 8 and 8 that would make more sense how it's currently set up yes
