NEW CONFERENCE NAMED

LOL....that is a great name for schools in that area.

Wonder if Spring Creek will go independent again similar to what they did a few years ago when placed with a couple of Duplin County schools? Maybe play 8 man? I do not think they have a coach.
I seen where they scored more points on the season than Goldsboro last year. I don't know if that's a good thing, it's definitely not good for the conference.

I can't wait for the non-conference schedules and senior night games to come out
I heard that Wallace is playing Clinton, East Duplin, and Kinston non-conference. Don't know who the last game is against in non-conference play. And I don’t know how true this is, came from one of their young guys.

I know kenan is looking for a week 2 game... I would expect east Duplin be on the schedule and I don't know if spring Creek will be playing football in the conference or not

I don’t see a world where this conference isn’t decided by the JK v WRH. Seems that WRH is calming their non conference schedule compared to the past, must be a reason why 🤔

Sounds like there’s already no money for the sports WE DO have, why add another where 99% of the students have never trained in before?
Didn't stop Rosewood from making it "season's beatings" as quoted by their OG head coadh Bill Edmundson. That was back in '92 when wrestling was nonexistent in 1A. Again, you never know until you try

I’m not against wrestling being introduced to duplin county. Matter of fact I didn’t graduate long ago and I had moved from NY, where I did wrestle. I asked about wrestling and even had a teacher say he would coach it, but no $$$$$. And I’m sure there’s several athletes who could be great wrestlers at JK as well as the rest of the DUCO schools.
