FH has another tough one with 3A Parkwood this week. Parkwood just knocked off the #7 ranked 4A team in South Carolina. This game has me worried like the Latin game. 🤪

Nah, Shelby isn’t out of their top 10. If they are honest with themselves, Maiden is actually the main suspect.

I definitely think Shelby should be in the poll also. You play the toughest schedule and are still 3-3. Not sure who to drop from the poll. The west just has a lot of pretty good teams this year so it's hard to judge. FH might lose to Parkwood. Massey has us as underdogs again.

Forest Hills definitely belongs. Take Maiden and Burns for instance, the one team Maiden lost to, Watagua, Burns beat them by 20. Yet, Maiden is ranked top 3 and ahead of Burns.

Oh...so we just looking at the scores or the games as a whole?

Maiden had a two score lead going into the 4th and Watauga could barely make it past midfield with their 12 trick plays. 4th quarter it finally wore us...was our first test of the year and it humbled us and we couldn't keep grip over the lead. I promise you that doesn't happen again.

Burns couldn't stop them until the end of the game when Watauga fumbled Burns into late scores and WTG killed themselves into not catching up that late.

I don't see anyway to compare Burns and Maiden through Watauga because of how different those games were.

BC Burns plays who they play...I would have them ahead of Maiden...but I wouldn't discredit Maiden at all.

I wish a team would overlook us.

Regardless, no one outside of Maiden would take you guys over Shelby, the team left out of your “according to y’all top 10”. It wasn’t “y’all” though, more like yourself, to be honest. Because as I mentioned earlier, most 2A posters would actually still have Shelby in their top 10. Chopper, too.

Nothing against East Surry, either, but they are not the no.1 team in 2A, in my opinion. They are no.1 only by default. They were highly ranked to begin with, and they haven’t lost. That said, they haven’t beaten anyone aside from 1A Mt Airy.

Maiden belongs in the top ten, just like Shelby & Forest Hills. If I had to drop any team from the current "Top 10" it'd be Chase. Until they actually beat somebody (Hendersonville), they need to prove it more than anybody. I think you could make a case for Salisbury not being in the top 10 right now also. The only good team they've played, they got beat 31-7.

I don't get your point here. Any Maiden poster agrees Shelby is top dog. I have said on multiple threads that until a 2A team beats Shelby, they are No. 1. This statement was just you playing with yourself in front of us....it was pointless.

With how they switched and added....it pushed Shelby out. 2) Wasn't myself...but the guys above me, I was reflecting their changes. I reacted that way to garner more posts so that other people would holler their edits. Community involvement...a positive thing...unlike what you're doing.

Either way, we can talk all we want and compare this team to that team. But bottom line is it's basically just that, talk. It really doesn't mean anything until November/December. That's the only time the number to the left of the team matters.

not what that toilet tissue strong defense ya'll had. 5 teams in that bracket would have eaten WRH dfense alive. All they need is a few stops to get you out of your game plan. You might get your little 3 tds, but your pass defense was trash. Maiden, Hendo, Reidsville, Burns would have had a field day in that 2ndary. Like I said, it took Clinton about 3 beat downs to pipe down. I see ya'll need 2 more good ones.

Defense would’ve held it’s own against other west teams. Little 3 touchdowns. Had 7 against Shelby and would’ve scored more against other western teams. We were also coming off two of the most physical game’s anyone can play. All that being said , there should be four Eastern teams in top ten in my opinion

I think at minimum reidsville and wrh would have been a tossup.
