I will say Coach Robinson is one of the best. He has his girls playing above their potential many times.
Rogers went down early in the first, hope it ain't as serious as it looked
I don't like a parochial being involved but I can't say enough good things about Coach Robinson. He's by far one of the best in the state and in history.

2 exciting games coming up. One on Wednesday with McDowell vs Lake Norman and on Thursday North Wilkes vs East Burke. Can’t to see how these games will turn out.

Been following them majority of the season Nene Ward and Laila Smith have been amazing this season for the Eagles. Happy for Bladen County fans now let’s see if West Bladen can make it to state on the boys side.

Anyone know anything about Hoggard and Wakefield on the East side of the bracket. Looks like Hoggard has one senoir but they only have 1 loss.
All parochial school are religious but not all religious schools are parochial. To be parochial have to be directly affiliated with a particular religious organization (diocese, parish, synod, etc).

I like seeing that it’s actually the top four teams playing in the final 4.
Cherokee girls are really fun to watch. Hands down, the best girls team in NC regardless of classification. Some of those shots they hit down the stretch and the defensive intensity was something to admire. And to think, most are very young. The big girl from Cherokee is very, very skilled; however, the guards make the team roll. Those quick guards create such panic defensively that Bishop basically kept turning ball over when it mattered. Great game, and I can only imagine, that game was for the championship. Great job by both teams and hands down best game thus far.
Get ready for a huge game this evening as 30-0 McDowell take on 28-1 Lake Norman. Wish I could be there.
Definitely top 5 team. I hope each kid has a opportunity to play next level if that’s their goal

Honestly, the quality of play in this Hoggard/Wakefield game has been pretty poor so far.

Wake is a tough place to shoot and play in. I've never seen a team shoot or fill it up, until I watched Cherokee last night....Hoggard with the steal, layup and one at the end of the third quarter to surge to a 21-17 lead.

Right now it doesn’t look like a regional final will see a score in the thirties, that’s godawful.
The depth perception is tough if you’re used to a high school gym. Cherokee having an arena with seats behind the goals helps adjust easier I’m sure.
Last year Reidsville and Farmville Centtal filled it up. Neither team seemed to struggle with shooting in their game.
If this is 3 of the best officials in the state, that’s a problem. 3 blatant walks missed in one possession.
Lady Titans have flubbed a couple of easy layups. Can’t do that against quality opponents.
My thoughts after the first half:
LKN is making some uncharacteristic turnovers and are rushing passes/shots at times.
McDowell doesn’t wow you with their athletic ability but play well together and make good decisions. They don’t seemed frazzled by LKN’s pressure.
Second half could go either way.
