I was wondering how long the Copper Basin posters had to carry the water for SP over here.
I heard THP will have road blocks setup at the state line to turn us around because we are unworthy of even playing ball in TN. 🤷
I thought this Watson man's website was charging $10 a month to talk about this game. I garuntee you when these gas prices got so high I haven't left Gourdneck. Ain't no way I could afford $10 extra dollars a month.

In all reality I'm hoping this is a good football game. Both programs have great tradition and historically both are in the mix for a state title each season. This pirate team is young in a lot of key positions and especially up front. We still have some speed at the skill positions but this should be a big test for us. I'm hoping for a great atmosphere at Beene stadium come Friday. How well does Murphy travel?
We had a decent crowd at Commerce which is about the same distance as SP. We'll probably have several people there.
Well to hear you talk I'm expecting fireworks and a circus at halftime following the fly over of course. That's what it will take to be a more electric atmosphere than Swain, Murphy and Robbinsville.

You guys can laugh and poke fun of our statements but truth is none of y’all have stepped on the field at Beene. It’s a electric atmosphere. I’m not saying swain or Robbinsville isn’t but in my opinion there’s nothing like the Pitt and you guys will find out soon enough.
It may very well be but Big Oaks Stadium with standing room only and 3 deep around the fence is an awesome environment too.
I would prefer to watch a game without a track around it like Swain has.
A packed house at the speedway is hard to beat atmosphere wise. I don't expect standing room only but when there is it can get loud and we can get a little rowdy. I know its a long drive but I hope you guys bring a lot fans
One the things I think is neat is how you all always take a Charter Bus to where you are playing. You guys do a really good job at taking care of the players
5 miles or 500 miles we take charter busses. For a small program I feel we do a good job taking care of the players.
I like the track tbh, keeps traffic flowing and at Swain there is plenty of room for the fence walkers. Cherokee has one of the best stadiums in the state, absolutely love watching games there. Swain vs Cherokee is an incredible atmosphere regardless of where it’s played, one of the best around imo.
You guys talk like you got Asheville or Reynolds type speed.
Have a ? then. How did Cloudland almost beat South Pitt last year then with all that speed. Murphy plays like Cloudland but bigger kids and more athletes
Everyone that knows me knows how big a Murphy fan I am and I must say Pitt is luckily getting the wounded version of Murphy. That's not a dig at Murphy. I'm just saying they are inexperienced for a dog's team and got a new coach. I'm good ng Pitt 28-14 not because of speed.
Asheville has a lot more team speed than Pitt and Robbinsville ran them off the field last year and took them to the wire this year.

good for them. Most schools in NC have speed. The only geographic location that doesn’t is the schools west of Asheville. Murphy is the exception to that rule. Unfortunately, they are not nearly as athletic or fast as they usually are. It seems Tennesseans are not as accustomed to speed in the 1A ranks as NC schools are. Even so, speed isn’t the end all be all. It’s nice to have it though for sure.
Where did I say anything about it taking speed to beat South Pitt? If you pay any attention to anything I say on the T I have nothing but respect for Cloudland, I played against them in 2017. I was also on the 2014 team that hit south pitt in the mouth and beat them. That Cloudland team you guys had last year was special and would more than likely beat this years Murphy team. If you out physical the Pirates you normally will beat them but that’s hard to do most years and I don’t see Murphy doing that tonight.
This is no where close to what we fielded last year. Sp is very young and inexperienced this season. We graduated a DT that was a 3 star had multiple power 5 offers and a RB that went D1. QB and receiver went D2 and had our kicker transfer to Baylor. We lost several more key players as well. We have fielded some very good football teams over the years.....am I saying we are bad this year, no just very inexperienced and have no depth on the line. From what you guys are saying it sounds like you are down as well and hence why this should still be a good football game.
It was negative 10 degrees up on that mountain it took our boys a while to warm up 🤣 Murphy's style does remind me of some east TN teams but still different than Cloudland. Sp should be familiar with what we will see tonight style wise
It wasn’t that cold. The tall WR was fun to watch that night. He kept making plays.
You saying that reminded me of that big WR MICS had in 2012-2013, that boy was a stud.
