That is horrible. Praying for this young man.
Yes, it is, and kids wonder why we worry about them so much, and are constantly “in their business”.
That said, and coming from a Reidsville poster, one who has done score comparisons in the past. Another underlying message of this is, “if you make mince meat out of our conference mate, don’t use it as barometer, score comparison to Reidsville’s win over them. Morehead will be playing under emotional distress going into this game”.

Whatever! I’ma stand on that! I have had conversations with him and Franky in the past, about a couple of our opponents struggling with these Triangle area teams, common opponents, and doing score comparisons.

If folks dont think the vast majority of Reidsville fans aint looking around 10pm Friday and seeing how bad Shelby beat Morehead and if it was by more or less than them, the you are fooling yourselves
Most are NOTORIOUS for it..... Heck they are begging on the FB football page for Morehead to"shock" us, they start thread after thread over there about Shelby..... We've been in their heads for years, they just wont admit it..... Yeah they curb stomped us last year, but deep down where they dont talk about it at Short Sugars, they really REALLY want Shelby to lose out before coming up there again...
Ive said since seeing Shelby first two weeks, this probably aint our year, and i think next year is, but like my man LA pointed out in an earlier thread I wouldnt be shocked if they made semis or finals either... were young, real young.... LOL....
Shelby will beat morehead by as many as they want. Not much of a comparison to make in a game like this. If it was west stokes or walkertown I could understand wondering about the score difference.

(I am somewhat like e. e. cummings in that regard.) If I think you get my drift, I feel no need to go edit and correct something so little as where my response lands. I bet no one down your way will, this week, check to see how Reidsville handled R-S Central. I don't believe any of our fans ever rush home to see how Shelby did against Thomas Jefferson, or any of Shelby's first round opponents. However, I expect your fans and ours alike can't wait to see how each did against their respective later round opponents. I’m not a member, nor do I even visit that page. I saw a few screenshots when that page launched, and didn’t care for it. My sister sends screenshots occasionally, though.
You could try yoga or some deep breathing exercises. Maybe you could do like me and not do everything the way other people do.
Love ya, bro, but you know good and well posters on this site, as well as that site will “score compare”. Like I said earlier, I have had plenty of engagement in the past with Frank and ‘90 comparing scores of common opponents.
Heck, TGT did it during the 2021 season, comparing Reidsville versus Hendersonville, and Shelby losing to Hendersonville the previous season. Reidsville blew out Hendersonville. He did it the week we played y’all in ‘21, suggesting that results of those games mattered going into that game.
Dude very easily could have posted a thread focused on Morehead and that tragic situation. Yet, he included Shelby for that other hidden agenda, in my opinion.

I only brought this up for the kid. It was for the state of mind of the kids coming to play you. I don’t care how many points you score against them. It will likely be more than reidsville scored on the panthers.
And I don’t know if any of you have noticed, but point comparisons and the like don’t mean a thing when Shelby plays reidsville. If Shelby travels to reidsville in a few weeks, the morehead scores will have absolutely nothing to do with the outcome of the game.
While many in reidsville put too much attention on Shelby, I’m not that guy. I have not read a single post this year about Shelby. If morehead was traveling to another school, I wouldn’t have mentioned Shelby now. Perhaps I will take a nod to my friend here in Randolph and refer to you from here on out as old gold/black.
