Just bringing over my thoughts from the other thread.
Really hope that your QB is able to go Friday.
I think Mitchell is still getting press based off last season. They only have 6 seniors and one of those has a torn ACL. (Hate that for any kid)
Mitchell is playing lots of new faces in new places. They have potential to be a really good team but will take time. Only one receiver with any playing time last season. New backs. New dB's. Not the depth they had.
Now they still have talentthat played last season and some of the new faces have talent, just have to get timing and gel.
Looking forward to coming to Cherokee on Friday.

This Mitchell team is young and has lots of new starters, losing 16 seniors from last year and already losing one of the 6 we had this year to an ACL is a blow. Should be a very good game and if we win it will be a good one to get.
Losing 16 seniors is a tough blow to any 1a school. After watching Friday I was really impressed with our tb he is a Soph that looks like he is about 215-220 now and still looked fast. He was a workhorse Friday and was the difference in the game. If cherokee can continue to run the ball and then throw in Mintz throwing we should have a tough offense to stop.
