Three teams from the Rocky River 3A/2A in the west top 20. Monroe, Forest Hills and West Stanly. West Stanly usually has some talent and always some huge linemen. Our conference is one of the smallest in the state with only 5 teams. Never understood how we're 3A/2A with only one 3A team that being a decent Parkwood team that has improved the last few years.

You wouldn’t have a problem with it, if they weren’t ranked over Reidsville, and I understand that. But, that’s what you’re really butthurt over. I’m sure if y’all were to lose Friday, you’d get the same respect. Looking at Chase, their opposition hasn’t won a game. Yes, that applies to Monroe, too, but i think they are the real deal.

If we lose Friday we should be out of top 10. Simple. Until we prove something this season others should be ahead. May mean more road games come playoffs but oh well. You have to earn it. Maybe we will. Time will tell

Shrub beat them with our now starting RB as QB (was backup QB most of the season last year until end of regular season) and a team made up of mostly freshmen and sophomores starting last season.

Latin is 2-0….they’ve won 2 close games against teams who played ranked 2a teams already this year.

Christ School who beat Polk and Metrolina Christian who lost in OT to St. Paul’s.

I love comparison games…and Forest Hills vs Latin is a real good one!

Forest Hills vs Charlotte Latin I hope will be a good one. Going by the Simmons Ratings Latin would be ranked 3rd in 2A so its going to be a tough game. Forest Hills is still a young team. Looking at the roster Friday night they still have a lot of juniors on that team and a few sophomores but we do have speed and an outstanding transfer QB.

I think this is a fair and unbiased post which I can respect although I don’t think Wrh can beat Hertford County. I do like this years Clinton team and I think they are going to be really good come playoff time.

Tarboro didn't take them seriously period. You stop the QB and it's a wrap. Spy him all night with your best defender. You won't beat anyone down east with one player promise you that. Lots of respect for Tarboro tbh. SWO had a playoff game and beat Tarboro but came away very impressed.

Early season game for Tarboro, I've always thought they really gel later in the season as a team. Just like last year Lost to RM then won a title. Think the same will happen this year. HC won their Superbowl vs Tarboro and will get smashed in the playoffs

Well I was at the game and spoke on this, most felt our guys didn’t take the game that serious. We had a completely different energy than we did against rocky mount, with that said, I’m not knocking them and hats off to them.
Also, unc is correct. Our teams typically get better lager in the year . Our coach will gladly trade an L in august for one in November.
