Looking at the schedule it would be nice to see some of these teams match up in full pads and lineman like Catholic-Gaffney, Gaffney-Butler, Catholic-Irmo, Shelby-Butler, Shelby-Catholic, Page-Spartanburg, Crest-South Pointe, Crest-Monroe, Page-South Pointe

I cant wait to see all this d1 talent in Dillon in person. I have only heard. I'm passing up my Scots to see this. I know Dillon has some talent as well especially that qb/olb #5.
 
Page beat Mallard Creek in the semifinals of this tourney.

When those two teams played a real game a few months ago, Mallard Creek was up 42-0 at halftime.

For those Shelby guys who just don't get it...I'm just sayin'.

As a Shelby fan I'm realistic and know if we played Mallard Creek they would be 14 to 21 points better the last 3 years both teams won the state in their classes. Both sides of the line for Mallard Creek would be too strong for Shelby. Our skill guys could match up but that's where the similarities end IMO. Shelby has big numbers that come out for football for a 2a school but that doesn't mean they have the same quality as what MC would have.
 
For the record, I'm not talking about the sane, knowledgeable fans that understand how the game works like yourself, HitmanT. But you guys have a couple of idiot thread jackers that have been terrorizing our 4A threads non-stop for two years now. Comment was directed at them.

Hitman you would be upset more than any other Shelby fan if we played MC and lost.As for the little video, do you MC fans realize we have 6'5 295 tackles that would get in these players way. I think it is called blocking.
 
OK! That Video had nothing to do with Shelby. I was showing great ball pursuit. Since you chimed in, because you guys love hijacking threads . You guys don't play 4A programs so stop talking about it.You're definitely not playing MC. If you did?:) We would maul Shelby in the trenches! You don't have one 6'5" 295lb Tackles that play for Shelby. If any? If you're going to make stuff up? Tell that crap to someone who doesn't know better.

So please go back to the 2A board and talk about your big game with Freedom.

We have been on vacation out of the area last week, and low and behold, little boy football Shelby comes within an OT of beating mighty MC. And then the MC boys run and jump and squeal like they just won the Super Bowl (the same reaction put on by any other team that just so happens to be fortunate enough to beat Shelby).
And you guys said Shelby was irrelevant.

Then you list the Top 4 in the competition to get MC in at #4. Guess Top 5 would have made you list Shelby. So obvious guys. Shelby's performance here against such larger programs is more the story than any other.

You know how you know how important Shelby is??? Go check the 2a board and see how many Mallard Creek fans posted. " We beat Shelby in two hand touch" or " Scoreboard Bitches"

Most of us didn't even know.

I'm gonna drop this right here for ya Blue and Gold. Never have I seen 4A players more excited to beat a 2A team than right here. I guess that's what happens when your the big name 2A team in the state...the Dynasty. You know how important Shelby is....goes ask the guys for MC jumping around in this video.

LMAO! They did the same thing against Lake Norman and they won 1 game.

I commend you. You finally started calling your squad what they are. Big name in 2A ....LOL!

So MC loses to 3A Burns (NC) then has to go to OT to beat 2A Shelby.
We believe we are starting to see some major cracks in big boy MC armor.
Somehow we don't believe Indy of old with Leak, Cox, Nicks etc would be so vulnerable, even in 7 on 7.
Looks like MC will take their lumps again this year. Can't wait on the excuses. Team didn't care, too many distractions, somebody suspended, blah blah.

WNCHSAA titles and D2 titles don't count. Schedule them or just continue to run like most programs have.

Shelby 1st hit the field in 1910 took them 37 years to win a Championship. They won their 1st State Championship in 1947 did not win another Championship until 21 years later in 1968. It took Shelby 60 years to accomplish what Mallard Creek accmoplished in 9 years. Please shut up and sit your Bama Ass down! During that 21 year grace period.That' when your Dad 1st laid eyes on his 1st cousin. It took him 21 years to realize his cousin was a Dude! Than your Dad and his cousin flipped a coin to decide on who was going to get a sex change...lol

1000 of those 1800 students are girls and Shelby has a 150 more players trying out for Football. We have the participation of a 2A School.
Mallard Creek would beat you by 4 td's minimum
