I get just get sick of the same ol crap every year. Asheville fans ripping Erwin when we played Reynolds much closer and Roberson about the same. Neither team is playing to our potential this season. I am very disappointed in how Erwin is playing but they are certainly capable of beating Asheville and vise versa. Asheville would be 6-4 with our schedule as well. They would not beat undefeated Mt paran. They certainly would have beat to Oootlewha. The might have had a chance against Science Hill and they got smashed by Reynolds. I am not knocking Asheville and they very well might beat Erwin next week, but to act like they are so much better is crazy Jumbob. I am really annoyed with how our coaches are approaching defense at Erwin so I have little to say about other teams. We just wont make changes. We have numerous fast kids on the sideline and they want to play these big slow lineman on defense. It is very frustrating to watch. There is no excuse for the way we played Roberson, Enka, and NB. None!

I haven't said one word about Erwin either, except I thought would be a lot better, but I also said the same thing about AHS

BD, you been seeing the same problems that we have. Our defensive lineman can't get across the line. D backs are playing soft and can't stop the pass. Wonder why we are giving up so many yards and points? Defense coordinator needs to get away from being conservative. They need to be more aggressive and switch up the things that are (or not) doing. We are giving up 3-5 yards to backs because our first hit is always on the Erwin side of the line. Yes we can score lots of points but we might not be able to outscore better quality teams.

I haven't talked about Asheville being "so much better", I gave my opinion that neither Erwin or NB would beat Asheville. I also haven't said that Erwin was bad, I just said they and NB were about the same after they matched up head to head (in response to an Erwin poster throwing shade on NB after NB played dead even with Erwin).

Just to clarify, not an Asheville fan (last game I went to there was either in the late 80s or early 90s).

Warrior. We can talk trash back and forth and I'm good with that but one thing you better not do is not mention my mother. Just because you punks can't handle the truth. Not my problem. Don't go their again Johnny boy...I lived in Asheville all of my life and everyone around knows the tradition and history of Erwin football. Yes, here lately you are attemping to change that but guess what...Fact test....Erwin is not there yet! That's one fact you can't argue against. Peace out chump.
