I think it has been said many times before that their JV teams weren’t good, and the varsity’s run would come to an end, but every year they have new kids transfer in for their varsity team. It’s a broken record almost.

girls program is atrocious now...team came out to warm up last night one at a time from locker room...only had 5players to,start with...mid way thru 2Q another player just walked up and sat down on the bench...no idea where she came from

Prep doesn't count on jv but they'll return Chaz #2, Zach #11 (who's my sleeper) and Crawley #23 and they have a big on jv who's gonna be a player!! But every school in Forsyth is circling the wagons cause when Prep is graduating a bunch they poach from all over!!!

It happened to the girls program because the head coach left and stopped funneling in strong transfer talent. As long as Andre is at Prep, they'll keep bringing in new talent and compete for state championships.

first off seems like a lot of coaches are in this forum. prep has not had any true transfers in years chaz has been there since a freshman so was williams and zach so the entire team which you speak of this year is just talent that has been together for a while. chaz and austin are just juniors cant help it has aligned like that. Lets talk about the elephant in the room everyone know that inner city youth are comprised of athletes. In the winston salem community basketball is a huge sport other than carver winning ships in football when has ws been successful in football. yes wf has had some big players come out but thats it no real success. The talent is on the east and southside part of winston salem. The area where carver and prep both reside. so thats why in football and basketball recent success in terms of ships football carver and basketball prep they are successful. i hate that guys get on here and say its recruiting it not just these areas are full of athletes. and on the hardwood that athleticism pays off. prep plays in best conference possible no real competition other than MA who else can compete? dont worry ill wait. speed kills ball handling kills. apply pressure to these guards in stokes and surry county and you will win. prep should win state this year only true threat is charter. thats is hate thats the western final should be state final. So to sum it all up prep is just in an area where basketball is played and produces most talent
