Plus talking with Coach Ware the week "98" was banned and him stating "Man, yall got banned? It won't be nearly as much fun to read now" showed that we needed to be here for the site. What is funny is how we were approached by many posters whom all said, "Why were y'all banned? That was ridiculous. There were people that used all kinds of foul language and belittled y'all personally that weren't banned and all y'all state is facts and you get banned?" Hypocrisy at its finest.

You misread what I said. You said the West beats up on each other that's why reidsville wins those championships. I said well the other Eastern teams should have more championships then.
The West is tougher than the East I wasn't arguing that. Reidsville is a Western team also.
Lincolnton is a great team. East Lincoln has one of the best coaching staffs in NC...but 2A football in NC, big or little, runs through Shelby.
My reasoning was so we don't have to play both.I learned along time ago, never want to play anyone just play who your suppose to.
Lets play both...throw in a two time defending 3AA state champion and 3A runner up...lets play them too. Oh wait, we already do....lol. Lets throw some 4A on there! Anybody...this year, I think we could hang with anyone.
According to home page....State playoffs have been moved back a week because of all the flooding down East.........seeding will not be until Nov. 12th a week later than it was scheduled to be......................playoffs begin Nov. 18th.................................

Everything pushed back a week.....for the obvious reasons...but is the political I mean the shrine bowl still a go or do they just play the players not in championships....other than that it basically gives the west a week off....

Had an old coach (not from Shelby) in the chair today. Said he is friends with several officials throughout the state and they are all talking about how Shelby is the best team in the state....his words, not mine.
I found it! Would be nice if NCHSAA realized the money they could make if they let champions play one another.
I expect Shelby and Lincolnton to again meet in the small 2a West Regional Final with the winner going on the win the state championship. Shelby will be favored and wouldn't bet against them even though I'm a Lincolnton fan. I would love it if one of the teams ended up in small 2a and the other in the big 2a. I think Lincolnton is better than any 2a team in the state except for Shelby.

You did tell him we lost our running back and Burns went up and down the field on our defense.
More like we "found" another running back and what good does going up and down the field do (300 yards) if you can't produce points out of it? Supposedly Mallard Creek went for some 600+ yards Friday night and lost. Burns is a really good team and they will surprise a lot of people over the next several weeks.

Terrible performances with very talented athletes. We went to Raleigh for the hurricane game and Kelly just can't seem to play to the conditions. Trying to throw the ball in a hurricane when rushing is moving the ball. Just some bone headed calls. He is definitely on the hot seat.
Yeah, I bet. Pulling teeth IS so much fun! It's not about brute strength but about finesse, and I am very suave in the operatory!
