Forbush High School in East Bend has hired Logan Holder as their Head Football Coach. The announcement was made on the Forbush Athletics X/Twitter Page. Logan was an assistant for Mount Airy when I played for Mount Airy. Congratulations!

Seems like a tough place to win. Forbush football most always plays second fiddle to Starmount in Yadkin Co. And I don't recall them ever making a deep playoff run.
This rivalry’s got more pressure than a Tarheel under a pothole! Plus, Forbush’s playoff history is like a dad joke – a real buzzkill. But Logan’s got the experience and if he lures in his pops for the squad, watch out world! Time to crank up that competitive juice and teach these players to hustle like they’re chasing the ice cream truck!
The few yrs they have had really good teams .. they seemed to always get Forrest hills or Monroe in the playoffs.. teams with much more speed & size .. I think if Logan can recruit in a couple of speedy athletes would help ... hard to recruit when kids can jump to West Forsyth, West stokes, Davie or starmount etc ... I hope he does well though
Yes, sadly, kids these days like to jump ship and don't have the fortitude to help build a winning program. When Forbush does have a talented football player, more than likely they run off to a program with a history of winning.
