Lincolnton v Reidsville RD2

If we hit on all cylinders Friday night, it will take one really good team to beat us. Reidsville may be that team, but I'm taking Lincolnton.

Go Wolves.

Lincolnton will probably have several hundred there Friday night..... even though it is a long trip.
2 hours, 13 minute from one football town to another (according to Googlemaps) ... have a safe trip to our friends from Lincolnton.

To any of the Reidsville Posters: Wednesday night, we had several inches of rain, here, but later today the sun was breaking through the clouds. Has it cleared off, there, yet. Usually one sunny day will help a lot in drying up a soggy field.

About the same here ... heavy rain early Thursday morning but then it cleared after noon. Should be a nice day Friday --- counting on it as I tee off at noon!

Mr. Lincolnton,if you decide to go and want some company give me a call.

OK, my friend. I'm working, this week and been trying to get things arranged. In this office it's hard to do, sometimes.

OC, thank you, my friend. good luck to the Bulldogs against Mountain Heritage. I went there on a bus, once, and we kept on going up the mountain to Burnsville. I could look out the bus window and look down at the street lights in Marion. We were so high up, the street lights looked like grains of salt on a dark table top. I always wondered how those who founded these high places were even able to get up there,to begin with...

Grit, perseverance, and a good walking stick.

Yes, I suppose that's what it takes... By the way, the Heritage fans will like Cushwa stadium. A great place for a game. They'll like Tommy's Barbecue if they can get by there. I've eaten there and in Lexington. Davidson County must have the best barbecue in America. It's just better.

Wow highschool playoff football it an amazing time
My take on the game Reidsville and Lincolnton are some very good football towns. Over 20 state championship s appreaces between the 2 wow!!!
It will be a great game , Reidsville good defense against Lincolnton high powered offence that have punted less than 7 punts all year. It will be a great chess match.

Actually kingdom fan there would have to be more than 20 state title appearances between L'ton and R'ville...Reidsville alone has won 18 and finished Second 3 other times...I know Lincolnton has won at least Two in the last 20 years or so...not sure about earlier and I'm sure they were in a few more title games......

Looks like a beautiful day and evening in Reidsville. We'll let it play out on the field. Wish safe game to both sides.

I know the struggle you go through to swap your hours around in order to go.My brother needs an escort to Burke County this evening so I'll take my Barney Fife Security training with him to ensure he stays out of jail. If you get to the game, enjoy yourself and tell my friends hello if you run into them. The Mule and Rambbq are two of the best high school football fans I've met through NCPreps over the years. Also the kid playing QB, Tanner Wilson, is a grandson of a fine man that played for the legendary "Jug" Wilson at Glen Alpine in the early 60's. He is a talented young man from what I hear and has made a difference in the offensive attack of the Rams since he took over at that position.

Lincolnton has been to 5
Didn't know the exact number for Reidsville
You are right its more than 20
Wow
What other 2nd round match up has that much state tradition colliding.

Made the inquiries about why Jug hasn't been at the top of the list.
