Lenoir Rhyne Wins National Championship

Today Lenoir Rhyne University won the D2 Lacrosse National Championship with a commanding 20 to 5 score.

I know this is a Football Forum but it is also a place we share information that could help or impact our high schools. Just as 2 or 3 years ago when Wingate University won the D2 College World Series with a mostly NC based team.

Lenoir Rhyne's Championship program had several key players from NC as well as many New England area players and at least two Canadian players.

This is the 2nd National Championship appearance in 3 years for a program that was only started 13 years ago.

If there was a mercy rule, this game would have been called at halftime. A very dominating performance for the Bears!
