Yet, you banged your chest, your “moobs” over barely beating Brevard who lost to a 2AA first round exit mountain team by two touchdowns, that same mountain team had the overall no.1 seed in 2AA. First off, why are you hijacking this thread? You were literally triggered by bralpa listing what he considers our key matchups are, just as the title of the thread asks us, all participating posters, to do. How come you just couldn’t follow suit? That’s right, you have no key matchups. Your regular season, especially your conference is so trash that TGT, last season, once listed the teams in your conference putt putt and badminton records in trying to give them some kind of credibility, show they are competitive in other sports.
You keep speaking of mountain teams as if two mountain teams didn’t have your entire fan base holding their butts tight in the playoffs. No need for me to continue contributing to you hijacking this thread, though. Shelby being constantly in your mouth speaks volumes, actually shows the respect you have for us, because you know who we are, our accomplishments, the mystique behind our very name.

And yes, I see the teams playing sooner than later, with schools such as Burns moving down, that could possibly put us back into 2A, wouldn’t surprise me if wer Then, there will be no more 4th round mountain teams for you guys to out athlete. You can pencil you guys in to rep the west every year in 2A currently for an obvious reason. Them Shelby Boys left in 2016.

Off topic but the small 2a east has gotten significantly better. Wrh in 2017 and Northeastern in 2018 were both formidable.
The west is weak, and you know it, you guys have no resistance whatsoever now, that’s just a fact, I’m not saying this out of malice. Yes, the east is strong again, no doubt.

I wouldn't call it weak. Mountain heritage is better than what you guys think. They are a legit top 10 2a team. But overall we should make it to states most years. I'm hoping things shift to make it stronger this year.
They rejected an offer to play us week 3. You’d think they would have taken that game, because they will inevitably see you guys in the 3rd or 4th round of the playoffs.

Clinton, Northeastern, WRH, and SWO are all formidable opponents out east in 2A. I think Clinton is the dark horse out east, no pun intended. It wouldn’t surprise me to see them repping the east in the end this upcoming season.

They should have taken that game, I was thinking the same. I think the big problem with them is they don't see the athletes they need to. I don't expect this years game with them to be as close as the past 2 years.
Lion good assessment bout the Clinton team will be tough but I think wrh gets Them in a close one playing at home in from of wrh crowd game I’ll be epic I have either wrh or Clinton in state this year reppin the east!!!
Hasnt been alot mentioned about it but yall(Wallace) open up the season traveling to Elizabethtown to take on what should be a really solid East Bladen team....that should be a good game aswell.....looking at the schedule i would have to say Wallace Rose-Hill probably has one of the toughest schedules....everyone looking at the Wake Forest and Havelock games but East Bladen,Southwest Onslow, and Northside-Jax arent exactly nobodies thats a tough non conf schedule buddy
I have heard that SWO will be down this season. I agree that East Bladen game is getting overlooked that should be a great football game. NSJ isn’t what they used to be either.
NSJ will be better than last season and they have one of the best athletes in the state #12 Ja'Qurious Conley on the top 50 prospects in NC for 2019 season....they never stay down for long and were a defensive stop away from upsetting Wallace a year ago
Wallace was down last year though. Conley is a good player, but based off what I’ve heard NSJ shouldn’t scare anyone
Inside Carolina has Conley ranked as the number 2 player in the state.He must be a good one.
Saw him last year when NSJ played Clinton very fast athletic good size 6'2 190 could play a number of positions at the next level think UNC is looking at him as a DB
