It's a great rivalry , The Tigers and the Comets.......The Tigers have some key spots filled and the team speed is better. Overall should be a great year. As for the Comets , I do not know. I do know they lost that really good Defensive end and some Burners in the backfield and wide outs.....but , I suspect they cupboard is not bare........anyone have any info on Asheboro?

Hey Maddox. Asheboro looked big and fast at ER jamboree. Have a new transfer QB(from a local HS) who I think will help them in their passing game. I didn't get to look at Randleman on field much but did get a gander at new helmet scheme. Liked the old style better. Oh what is going on with Tigers' QB situation? Heard rumors, as usual come to you for real thing.
Here is the word I get.........Bailey Welch has been offered a full ride to play baseball. It is my understanding that the school that offered does not want him to play football. Rather than jeopardize his baseball scholly , he has decided to pass up football. That means Tanner McGee will be under center. He is a 6 ft. 3 in. 190 lbs Jr.....Can really throw but may be a little slower than Welch was on the roll outs......A really better drop back type passer.......I cannot give you it's in stone , But I feel like that is a correct story......Welch is a heck of a Baseball player , both infield and pitching.............. If I hear different you will get the word from me K12......Hope you guys have a good year , have not seen the helmets , I Pray for healthy safe year for all the guys in our area.............. .
Can't blame college or Welch for that. I think baseball is the way he should go. Not sure how ER will do this year. Numbers are low and they have several Jrs that will have to play a lot. Hope everybody gets through safely to baseball season. Oh and the helmets are quite a change. Again I am old and like traditional things. This Friday will be maybe only time I will be pulling for your Tigers all year. Hope they do well.
Maddox and Kidd it is football time. I was at the ER scrimmages the other day also watching my Patriots. I was shocked to see how small most Randolph County teams were. I seen Randleman and ER while I was waiting on PG to play. I was wanting to know if yall think any body can touch Andrews this year.
I have to say I thought PG looked better than they usually do. I know there is still QB questions out there for Coach Brown. As everyone knows we got the kid back from ER and a QB that has been waiting for a shot. Just a tough situation. If defense can flex like they did last year I am thinking good things this year for the Patriots.

I hope PG has a good year. Know a lot of the boys personally and they have been working hard. Think a lot will depend on the how the QB situation works out.
No I do not think anyone can touch Andrews. Their numbers alone should give them advantage in most conference games.
As for ER, numbers are down overall, jv and varsity. A lot of boys will have to go both ways on both and that tends to show up in 2nd halves of games.

Hello Chute , hope you are well. Look forward to having you in Tigertown soon....Maybe you can come check out the Tigers and Jackets in a few more weeks.....As for you picking the comets , I understand.....but be careful , we do have a kid that can really throw it and if the defense can avoid the big play , you never know.....I hope for the best.......
As for our conference , I thing PG will be good, if the defense plays as they should. ER is always tough win , and I like their coach...........Don't know much about Wheatmore but I suspect they will be ok.
