Tarboro would probably still be in it. I don't think they would be favored over the final four in 2a. Especially Reidsville,NE,and SWO. Naw! Not over those three.
I think Tarboro is all dat. I do but it is tougher when you move up. If anyone knows it's WRH.Not saying Tarboro couldn't do it. Just saying I wouldn't put my money on Tarboro outta those FIVE mentioned.Better take a look at calpreps and simmons.
We talking about the same Tarboro that didn't do pre-game warm ups at the championship game in 98' against SHS?
Todd Gurley tore us apart in 2011. It still haunts me to this day.Hey guys...it ain't been that many years since Tarboro was 2A and they were a stout team then....
yeah the same Tarboro that got blown out
It's crazy how everybody who wins a small ball title thinks they can step up in weight class and challenge for the belt in a higher division.
It's always easier to move down in weight class and win the belt, never the other way around, ask WRH and SWO, they used to dominate 1AA. Life is different in the lake vs the pond.
Even Shelby gets chewed up a bit when they venture out into the ocean to take on a great white.
Are we talking about THE Tarboro from the 1A board? Cause that Tarboro can't be bothered with a piddly ass little 2A championship. Them boys are looking to beat up on the Saints or the Rams so they can face KC in the super bowl!
yeah the same Tarboro that got blown out

Yea just ask WRH how hard it was to move up.
WRH won it the first year we moved up. It’s definitely tougher but nowhere close to impossible.yeah the same Tarboro that got blown out

That's like saying 3a charlotte Catholic couldn't win 4a and that's a lie because they've done it here recently, and they would probably win it this year also,Tarboro just recently dominated 2a...how easily people forget
Yes, they would have fit right in with the loaded and stacked small 2A East bracket that already featured something like 4 teams that went 11-0 in the regular season, 3 other consistent powerhouses, and 3 or 4 more teams that nobody wanted to play, despite them being a team that made the playoffs as a wild card....also, they would have pushed Fairmont to the Westplaying somebody this friday nite...................
you actually think Catholic can win 4AA? Not 4A, 4AA.
The topic was presented as if Tarboro could win 2AA. The upper tier of 2AA is more like small 3A.
As mentioned before there's not a huge gap between 1AA and small 2A. WRH had an all star 1AA team, so of course they could compete for small 2A, although Reidsville gifted them tha title game.
Tarboro would not dominate Reidsville( nor most of the ECC or Northeastern) much less a large portion of 2AA.
Tarboro would be the favorite to win 2A this year in my opinion. I don't think Reidsville is as good this year. WRH won the 2A title last year and that was not their best team in recent years.
I wouldn't gift them the title either. I'm sure that wasn't Reidsville's best team but I think they were better than this year.

Catholic would have just as good a chance as anyone left in 4AA,I'm not saying they would win it,I would take WF myself but catholic would most definitely be in the mix, they could win the small 4A just as easily as they did before
Agree to disagreeWRH won last year fair and square, nobody gifted them anything, its football things happen in the course of a game,no excuses
I guess my opinion when someone says if they went up to 2A/2AA they wouldnt win im just curious if anyone remember a few years ago when Tarboro went to the state championship in 2A 4 years in a row winning 3 in a row. They went 2008-2012. They won the 2009, 2010, 2011 state titles those years so i was curious as to why people think they couldnt compete at that level now?

Catholic could not go through the 4AA West and make the 3rd round. You're talking Hough, MC, MP, Butler, Vance. I'd take your money on that bet.
Agree to disagree
