Gotta chance to check out my alma mater High Point Central at the Dudley scrimmage, the Bison in my honest opinion looked like they needed the most to work on out of all the teams that I saw. The offense looked like it was still trying to find its rhythm, they have some some studs in the staple though, both running backs Chavis Little and Geoffrey Wall are gonna be a tough combo to stop so the potential is there.......it's going to come down to coaching though. If they're going to try and run the same type of offense they did last year then it's going to be a long season for the Bison......the Qb they've had the past two seasons was a different animal he's gone now. They're going to have to simplify things for the young Qb they have now, do some roll outs, get the young man on the move and the ball out of his hands quick, work the screen game and quick outs in the flat could be a recipe for success as far as passing goes. Ultimately the success of this team is going to come down to whether the offensive line can get some push and we can feature the running game which is the strength of the team. The defense is what it is at this point, the Dline they started at the scrimmage looked undersized to me, hopefully they can play some of those studs on the offensive line both ways and get some bulk on defense in the trenches..

But alot of work and improvement has to be made from now until next week at North Davidson if the Bison want to even have a chance to win that game against ND.

Very true I talked to one of the Coaches and he told me this was the 1st scrimmage. I agree with you the success of this team must come from running the ball. But this is a very young team that should get better as time goes on.

Based on what I saw at the Dudley scrimmage, I might have to favor North Davidson here. I wasn't surprised to see them struggle against Vance or Dudley. I was surprised, however, that Smith was getting the better of them (to be fair, it was Central's third scrimmage of the day).

That being said, Central did start to have some success late in the Smith scrimmage. They've got some nice weapons. The QB looks like he'll be alright once he gets a little more experience. Chavis Little looked like Roger Craig catching passes out of the backfield. #24 (I'm assuming that was Geoffrey Wall) was catching everything in sight. The o-lines got some decent size (I'm still trying to figure out what y'all feed #77, that kid is massive). Central's definitely a work in progress but they've got promise.

On another note, I checked out y'all's arch-nemesis over at Simeon yesterday. The Red Raiders are pretty solid. Not sure if they're "state-champion" caliber.....but they're solid.
