Just shows you many teams super over rated. Holmes is not even top 10.... sun valley not top ten.... NE might be number 10 not 4 LoL JH rose is not top 20
Holmes is a top team in 1A. Sun Valley lost to a top team in Weddington, who also beat Crest. SMH!!
Yes they haven't played ANYONE. You people make me laugh so hard. Every year you hype up the aces and EVERY YEAR will get blown out to tarboro.
LoL anyone who knows anything about NC highschool ball knows NE part of the state is laughable at best. Getting blown out by tarboro is nothing to be proud of LoL they wouldn't hang with the top 5 in 2A top ten in 3A or top 20 in 4A what are you even talking about LoL LoL you boys up there need to take the blinders off
All that matters are the teams they play in 1A. Holmes played in the 2A title just two seasons ago. They and Tarboro are the best in the East.
I think the statement was, "beat a lot of 2A, 3A, and some 4A teams."
Could Tarboro beat Mallard Creek, Butler, Hough, Wake Forest, Richmond...NO!! They would be competitive though. Could Tarboro beat 4A schools like South Caldwell, McDowell....yes!
There are some 1A teams that can compete against the bigger schools. Tarboro, Mount Airy, Murphy, Holmes are a few to name.
I don't know why this is even being discussed on a 2A board. How about we get Tarboro to play SW Onslow next year? That should be something to talk about.

You have no idea how badly I would like to see Tarboro play SWO, WRH and ED this year.
Tarboro is better than last year. Their first string defense has yet to be scored on through 5 games. They are nasty. And I am not here to get in a pissing contest about who is better. I just know what I see on Friday nights and it is definitely top shelf.

LoL SWO has played Tarboro before and would be a great game. Tarboro like SWO doesn't rebuild they reload. They are a great program not taking anything again them. But they won't complete again good 4A or 3A schools. Besides the point, just stating Holmes is super overrated. They play no one and RB puts up 400 yards and 7tds and they are ranked 2 for many weeks. Just my opinion
Having an opinion is fine but is there some reason why you are so disrespectful in so many of your posts and why you use such strong language? For example you call us laughable. I fully realize we got blown out in both games but reaching the championship game and regional finals the last two years is not laughable. What is laughable is your opinion on multiple sites and in multiple threads that Holmes is not a Top Ten team.

I’m not sure how this is allowed. How is this person allowed to continue to rant about on every site about other schools and continuously call other people names who disagree with them. It clearly violates the rules of the site. It’s tiresome to continuously read someone saying the same thing over and over again on multiple sites about the same teams...which is usually NHS and Holmes. Yes we are very opinionated about our schools but no one else continuously downs other schools!
Once again we agree on something. Oh Lord please let SWO advance to come to Elizabeth City. I've never wanted something so bad.

I think you have short term memory loss because you can’t remember that we have played the same teams you’ve lost to and beat them or at least didn’t get blown out like you did. You keep bringing up rings THEY got years ago but skipping over the fact that we’ve beat you when we did play you and since you lost 48-7 and 49-7 to a team who barely beat us I think it’s pretty safe to say we would’ve beat you last year. The only way you made it to the eastern finals is because of how the brackets were. Anyone with half a brain knows it should’ve been nhs and wrh in the eastern finals. At least our game was exciting and not a snooze-fest like when they played swo! You’re delusional and obviously live to post on every board to just keep repeating the same dumb crap over and over. I will say again that I don’t understand why they let you stay on these boards except maybe to give them a good laugh or they know that you have no life except to post up here.
