It’s that time of the year where girls soccer will soon be starting up. Who will be the top teams to watch for. South Iredell will open up against Bandys on February 18. I will be primarily keeping up with the Greater Metro 4A. Last year I started a thread on girls soccer but got started late. This year I want do a full season. I believe we will see some great games. I will try my best to do better by attending some games.

Big matchup going on this evening at 7pm at Mooresville high to open up the regular season. Mooresville will take on Asheville high. Does anyone know anything about Asheville in girls soccer. I believe Asheville boys does pretty good.

Looking back last year it looks like Mooresville knocked Asheville out of the 4A playoffs beating them 2-1 in 2OTs. So this may end up being a good matchup.
