Burns will be at Cherryville tomorrow night (Friday) for the Conference Tournament Championship (Burns and Cherryville split the season series and Cherryville won the toss to get home field)

Definitely was not East Rowan’s night. Dug themselves in a hole 5-1 going into bottom of 2nd. They couldn’t recover. Hats off to West Rowan. Both teams came into this game 22-4. East did beat West in regular season 2 times. I can see these 2 teams doing good in the playoffs. But also I can tell East Rowan is not the East Rowan of last year.

To add to my statement above. I felt like West Rowan would come in as a team on the rise at the beginning of the season. My thoughts is with South Rowan winning the State 3A in ‘22 and East winning it last year. Wouldn’t it be something if West Rowan win it all this year.

Congrats to the Crest Chargers on winning the Big South this year. The con doesn't do a tourney. Crest losses this year came at the hands of Burnsx2, East Rutherford, and Cramer.

Crest ends the regular season at 20-4 (13-1). Was nice to see Parker Ramsey throw out the 1st pitch on Sr night. He was expected to be a huge part of this team (esp on the mound). Players have done a good job in stepping up.

Wouldn't surprise me AT ALL to see Cherryville win 1A. They have two absolutely fantastic sophomore pitchers that'll take them a long way.

This group of 12 Burns seniors won a Championship their sophomore year and were in the Championship last year so they definitely know what it takes to get there. I definitely wouldn't count them out even with a couple tough loses this year.
