Expected the announcement last Monday, wondering what the hold up is. I know originally they wanted to name by Christmas.
Heard the final goodbyes need to happen at current school then named soon after!
Exactly who I had heard it would be - he was at the top of their list before Seidel came on board in 2016. Congrats to the Bulls on a great hire!
Brandon Gentry - former NW Cabarrus HC most recently at Hopewell.
Watched him play at Crest in the 90's. Great pickup for HR.
Big hire for a guy who will definitely move HR forward. He turned NW around in 1 year and I think if he stayed had a serious contender for a deep 3a run. I believe the idea of opening a new school, with new fields and new everything was to hard to say no to.
Hopewell was a tough job. Even if you are very good you still have all the other Charlotte schools to compete with and lose athletes to.
Harrisburg will support Coach G and kids will want to stay.
