Hibriten At Maiden

Same Maiden coming to play pretty much. The load is on two kids offensively. Broken plays become nightmares as Farley runs left, then right, then backwards, then to the other side, then toward the end zone. Teams that play Maiden will have to be disciplined. Stay home, defend your area, don't chase the ball from the backside or that's all you will see. Teams that get penetration from the defensive line seem to change the dynamic of the game for Maiden. More than a team that operates under center or runs the option or plays power from a simple base set.
I would say so but they don't throw a lot down field and Huff is his primary target out the backfield. ...he's a running QB mainly...
He's very fast and elusive, moreso in person rather than on film.
Hibriten has size. Saw that last week vrs EB. If they can get push up front it should make the game interesting.
If anything this is the game to gage the Tallent level of Hibriten and see how far they may go this year. To beat EB as bad as they did, either they are for real or EB really stinks this year. Can't understand why the score was as up as it was because EB brought back a chunk of folks from last years 3rd round team( EB has only gone 3rd round 3 or 4 times in school history) including the QB.
All that being said just based off of last week, if Hibriten loses to Maiden it pretty much means EB is in for a sloppy season. An then again can't base outcome on who beats who the week before either.

I was also impressed with Hibriten shutting down E Burke passing game.
E burke showed nothing offensively.
Not to lean away from the thread but didn't realize losing RB Clark and that wideout made that HUGE of a difference. QB returned and showed a decent showing in the South Caldwell scrimmage. But seeing how SC is this year that's not saying much.
The wideout Newell was a huge part of that offense. Not to discredit the qb but Newell made him look good. He was one of the fastest kids in the area.
It's a one man show for Maiden. Huff is very good but not used enough. It's just Farley or bust. Kind of like Rico was used at AC Reynolds even with the other talent they had.
No doubt... find a way to contain him and Maiden is in trouble. Maybe easier said than done but that is the answer.
Yeah it was pretty shutdown. These guys may get a 6 year in the making rematch with West Rowan
