Grimsley vs Weddington

Spreading awareness? Innuendos and half truths and plausibly deniable bs to frame your narrative more like. Those 6000 folks on the Whirlie side last night really reflects the negative impact and energy that you, among the very few, spout like so much sewage?

How is b-ball season going for you, jj44?
a large amount of folks means nothing... other than people just wanting to watch high school football at a high level... it just means that they dont know or even care about how it got to that level.

the county or state will just open all enrollment (because of these public schools portaling), especially if NIL is involved. just end all this bs. go ahead and kill the sport for the public schools. give it away to the privates and charters.

I was one that was an
out of towner (Reidsville...myself, friend, and son-in-law) sitting right behind us was former Reidsville coach Jimmy Teague and current Reidsville coach Eric Teague.....................great game///no one has mentioned what I think was the turning point of the game....Weddington was ahead 17-7 and had just recovered a Whirlie fumble inside the Whirlie 20.....3 plays with huge losses forced a punt and then Grimsley went OFF>>>>huge set of plays right there...........................................congrats to them...win it next week....................

Cry baby Honda doesn't know when to quit! Let's keep in mind you thought Hough and Weddington would easy beat us! You showed us pages of stats!!! Pages!!!!!!
MIster Honda's " stats " mean as much as the stats for the Mason-Dixon Roller Vixens, a roller derby squad that was based in Hagerstown , Maryland.

You are exactly right. .. the wet field led to 2 huge loses and no points . That was the turning point !

Well don't forget the extra $1.50 for the stupid fee..............I'm old school...why not just walk up to a window and buy a damn ticket the old fashioned way??
I was told by a Grimsley teacher that someone stole and or embezzled athletic funds in Guilford County so now they don't take cash anymore. It only takes one to ruin it for all.

National rankings seem to put a significant amount of weight on the rankings/ recruitment of the players. Of course you have to keep winning to keep the ranking.

This may be understandable when for some skilled players but some of the lineman rankings are based on size and potential.

I believe the player rankings can be misleading on the high school level. I think a case can be made that the best player on the field may not be ranked because of size and they will not project at the next level. Many linebackers and lineman are great in high school but get no attention due to size / speed issues. I would even suggest that those players have more heart, desire and football knowledge at the high school level than SOME of the 4 and 5 star prospects.

This old saying holds some truth. If you have size you have to prove you CAN’T play. If you are small you have to prove you CAN.

The most recent example of this would be the East Duplin / Reidsville matchup a few years ago. Reidsville with 2-3, albeit young, D1 players and East Duplin with 0 division D1 players. (If I am not mistaken) This was not evident on game day.

I think many times it is the players who have suited up for the last time that have the most impact on the game.

If this post sounds like I was 5’9 155 in high school then you are dead wrong. I was 5’9 and 1/2. 😀
