For the last few years ALL playoff games are at Grimsley. Grimsley couldn’t handle the playoffs on the road. This game at Grimsley?
If you come to Jamieson Stadium on Friday, you’ll see it.I don’t see Grimsley beating that team even at home.
These same four teams…EF, Weddington, Grimsley and Hough, every single season like clockwork. This is why the 4A playoffs have become so predictable and boring. There’s nothing new under the sun. Then you have Grimsley and EF scheduling enough teams with decent records but not strong teams to give them enough ratings points to have home games in the playoffs every year. My gosh, EF struggled with Mooresville last night. So Weddington should take EF. I dont see Grimsley taking Hough. For all the bitching and whining about seeding and strength of schedule the best 4 teams by a good distance are left in the West
Don’t think so.If you come to Jamieson Stadium on Friday, you’ll see it.
That's always how it's been. For years it was largely a Indy-West Charlotte-Richmond deal. Then you went through the Butler- Indy years then slowly you got a Butler- Mallard Creek- East Forsyth- Page run. Then Creek- Chambers/Vance-EF. Now it's rotated to Grimsley- Weddington- Hough runThese same four teams…EF, Weddington, Grimsley and Hough, every single season like clockwork. I saw them play last night. Hough looks more aggressive especially on defense. I’m not just trying to cause debate. I really don’t think Grimsley’s going to take them. That's always how it's been. I'm rooting for Hough now. I think Baker has really changed the physicality of that program.
This has been the same message every year. At some point you might be right!I saw them play last night. Hough looks more aggressive especially on defense. I’m not just trying to cause debate. I really don’t think Grimsley’s going to take them.
You can argue with RPI data all you want. That's how they seed teams. Get over it.For the last few years ALL playoff games are at Grimsley. Grimsley couldn’t handle the playoffs on the road.
