From a Southern Durham Fan Congrats to Shelby Crest on winning the 3AA Title

Well what else can I say. I knew it was a uphill battle coming in but I will definitely not sit back and let anyone trash talk and disrespect my squad so I definitely fired back. Unfortunately for us we got our tails whipped by the better team period bottom line. No excuses whatsoever there are a lot of Southern fans around me talking about our QB being out bottom line is you play with what you have and it wasn't enough Crest handled business you will never ever hear any whining of excuses from me period. Charger fans you guys should be proud and you all have my respect you are the first 3AA team outside of our two conference losses one in the playoffs last year and one this year to defeat us since we returned to 3A in 2013 and it was only fitting that we lost to the team we defeated in 2013. So proud of my guys man we gave it all we had to get this far after losing so much we will be back for sure. Today is your day Crest and it's well deserved congratulations again from this proud Southerndurhamalum.

Yeah man Jalen Our QB hurt his Collerbone in round 3 like I stated earlier hopefully he will be back sometime next year to help the basketball team out they are looking real good so far. Your D beat up Jordon he is really banged up but despite only playing QB for two weeks he left everything out on the field the kid is a winner on and off he field right now he is third in his class academically and has a change to be class Valedictorian. UNC is getting a great player on and off the field it was unfortunate he wasn't able to display his talents fully today due to the circumstances but like the classy kid that he is he has no complaints whatsoever. Yo this Foster kid is an animal gesh! Cizik better be recruiting this kid hard we need him in Chapel alongwith Jordon Brown.
 
Yea bro. 10 played his heart out. It's tough when your QB is down. Those receivers were blazing fast. Foster is a great kid too. Hopefully we'll see each other again one day and break the tie.

Southern boys never quit fighting even when Crest stretched out lead in 3rd quarter. Much respect for their program.
 
Kind words from Southern Durham Alum. and Reynolds rocks .2. Everyone back being pretty healthy made a difference. Especially on defense. We knew Southern Durham would come to play and they did. Hats off to them, they never quit. That's all you can ask. Jordan Brown really impressed me, one heck of an athlete. Congrats to the Chargers and SD for representing the State with class. Both are proven winners.
 
Crest is was the best team with or without your QB. This Crest team would have beaten the 2013. That was a butt whopping today....SD pix 6 and any other doubters please don't say another word. SD was an average team by our stds.....take note the next time Charger Nation tries to tell you a beat downs coming. We played better teams in our conference. Good luck next year. I understand your frustration. I'd have a chip on my shoulder too, if I always have to play second fiddle to a 2A school no matter how many titles I win. Everyone knows the signiture program in Cleveland County Shelby and NOT Shelby Crest.

Crest...how many starters are y'all graduating this year? How's it looking for next year?
 
Yeah not many has hitman said. Our defense will be pretty special next year. This year it was our offense and next year will be our defense. Poole at DB and Borders at DL are the only starters we will be losing on defense. We have some great athletes that will fall right into those two spots. We will be losing 3 OLs, QB, and 2 WRs. Back will be Borders at WR and Brooks at RB with Fuller and Isiah also at WR. Truck will also be returning. Not sure if he will be QB or just an athlete on the field making plays. No reason why we shouldn't 4 peat. No reason why we shouldn't finally take you guys down!
 
Congrats from Catholic! Crest has been a machine, much respect to Southern Durham as well. Both those programs do it the right way.
