Panthers conclude the Henderson county swing with West coming to The Pit. Franklin can wrap up the WNCAC with a win on Sr night. West is playing some good ball but hit a bump in the road last week. Thoughts?

I believe Franklin wins this one .Us Bear fans had to pull for Tuscola last week and now we have to pull for the Panthers. If Franklin wins and my Bears win out Bears will be number one seed in the 3a part of conference.

West wins 26-23......Congrats to the Falcons as they were the more physical team. Special teams killed the Panthers tonight.

Geez, we shut them out, they beat Pisgah and Franklin. Going to be a wild finish in the WNCAC. That loss to North really stings now.

I'd rather get a share of a conference championship than worry about seeding. I heard Chuck trying to explain why Pisgah and Tuscola should have been pulling for Franklin last night and as usual he is clueless. There is no seeding trophy.

Franklin needs to learn how to punt!!!!
West is not that good and if the bears had played four quarters instead of two if wouldn't have even been close.Would love to play them again in the play offs.
In 2017 Pisgah and Tuscola will go back to 2 A with Franklin.West will probably be 3-A.

That's awful tough talk. You're stupid to think 'it wouldn't have been close'. They led the entire game and beat Franklin. Get out of here with your bitter garbage.

You lead 16- 0 at half time ,the bears shut you out the second half, and scored twice..Had more total yards and was on the five yard line when time ran out.Like I said West is not that good but sometimes you have to have a little luck. That being said the conference is more balanced this year than years past.

You guys played a great game & your D played lights out but even though I'm a Franklin homer let's be honest here. If we don't self destruct on special teams we win this game. Not only did we self destruct on punting we allowed some huge run backs. Granted it's part of the game but without some gifts West comes Home with a loss.

Blocking punts could just as much be attributed to you self destructing as it could to West playing good D or special teams. Dropping punts and you might have a point but West blocked them.

That's a 2 way street. That's like me saying if West didn't let you block the FG at the half and return it for a TD, that it wouldn't have been close. The Falcons just played a good game on D.

Lol. That's like me saying that West played only the first 2 quarters, Pisgah was unimpressive, and that it wouldn't have been close if they played quarter 3 and 4.

Trust me, there were people on the West side just as unimpressed with Pisgah. That's a 2 way street.

My guess is Franklin hasn't had to punt much this season has a lot to do with it.

You should see the punt formation that led to the blocks. It was one of those spread formations with only three people on the line between the hashes. I'm not gonna run down the coaches for trying it, but I hope we don't see it again.
