Owen goes 3 & out and the Panthers march in again, 14-0 Panthers 1Q.

Franklin picks off the Warhorses and on play later it's 21-0 Panthers 1Q.

Another Owen 3 & out and Franklin scores on a pretty pass play, 28-0 early 2Q.

Owen gets on the board, 28-7 Panthers 2Q.

Franklin hits another pass play for a TD, Panthers 35-7 2Q.

Panthers pick another pass and drive down for another score, 42-7 Panthers 2Q (back ups are sprinkling in already)

All back ups in now and driving but Coach Brooks drains the clock to get to halftime.

No score in the 3Q on to the 4th, Franklin playing 2nd & 3rd team.

Final: Franklin 42 - Owen 7, Panthers move to 5-0 on the season.

Score was 42-7 W 6 min to go in half...franklin emptied bench as they usually do w lead...owen is well coached and play very hard...simply out manned badly Friday night..ill give them credit they took the game...thats more than heritage or Mitchell would do

FACT AND I MEAN FACT IS FOR SOME REASON COACH ROBINSON CHOSE PLAYING HAYESVILLE OVER FRANKLIN

I explained this in an earlier post Brevard, Erwin, Salisbury, Hayesville, and Hendersonville were already on our schedule in the spring, I don't know why Heritages JV's sheduled Franklin and the varsity didn't but I promise it wasn't because we were scared, we played Erwin who has beat you the last couple of years and Hendo who traditional whoops our butts and this was supposed to be their best team in a really long time, 4 of our 6 non conference games were already away and I'm sure Franklin was planning on playing at their place, I didn't here a peep out of Franklin fans 4 weeks ago when we laid it on Erwin, that being said I respect Franklin I've gave them nothing but complements this season and hope we can play in the future, I think it would be a hell of a game
