Not really, Thomas is just the difference maker and PG coaches have made better adjustments at the half. Forest Hills is pretty vanilla offensively. But sorry, God forbid we offend PG

Thanks for letting me know where to listen. Really appreciate that. Glad my Yellow Jackets won. Feel bad for PG. They never gave up. Sound like a tough ball team. Hope to see them in the playoffs in the future.
Bad call. After FH called a timeout there, I would’ve gone for the PAT. Had been making them all night.
PG tried to run the ball in the first half, and it didn’t work. I said that FH could be had in the passing game, and they were thoroughly had in the 2nd half. Just enough to hold on. At East Gaston next week for the Shelby Sweepstakes.
Glad you got to listen to it. I am prejudiced but I think Tony and the Sportstone crew do a pretty good job of broadcasting games. Not too biased and try to recognize players from both teams. Hopefully you can watch or.listen to game next Friday.
They were pretty good announcers. I really enjoyed listening. We've got a local station here WIXE that use to carry a lot of FH games but that was back when Union County only had 5 high schools back in my day. Now there are 13 High Schools so they have to spread around who they cover.
Tony Wright is a first class guy.
On the conversion if you go for it Thomas, Cheek, and/or Rogers have to touch it. They just have to imo. Go down with your best making the plays, they got you back in it twice

Well, that was a disappointing ending.......
......and PG came all the way back too. It didn't even look like PG belonged on the same field with the Yellow Jackets in the first half. #6 was looking like Earl Campbell running the football. Up until midway through the third quarter, the FH defense was absolutely outstanding. Their overall speed really bothered PG.
The second half was real interesting. The tide begin to turn for PG when they converted that first down off the fake punt. PG made far better adjustments than FH did. It seemed to me that FH came out overconfident and thought they had this one in the bag. Luke Thomas was looking sharp in the second half. He really showed off the wheels last night.
I have to shout out PG kicker Tucker Batten. His two field goals kept PG within two touchdowns.
Also, not to make excuses, but PG really missed #78 on the line. He was the one guy that I was hoping would not be hurt.

I also want to say congrats to Forest Hills. I really enjoyed watching Christyan Washington. He was impressive. Also enjoyed watching Rowan Starnes in the trenches. Good luck next week against East Gaston.
Missing 78 was huge, hate it for the young man. Agree with Batten he was big. Thomas was Thomas, kid is a tremendous high school talent and led them back last night. No surprise. No way to replace that kid next year. Same with Rogers, pound for pound about as good as you get. Took a beating last night and continued to battle. As horrendous as that last decision was for PG, they made the adjustments at the half and got them back in it. Fake punt, it worked, si it was a great call. 😂 Actuallybit really was because at that point in time they had to have a big lift. Forest Hills was so vanilla offensively and won because of athletes. It will cost them in the coming rounds. They are going to be tough in the coming years though with all that young talent.
