Before last Friday I wouldn't have put Avery up against anybody don't know much about South Stanley but I say they win, the first quarter and a half against Heritage they had like negative 50 yards of offense while the starters were still in, a lot of our starters were still in up till the fourth quarter against Mitchell. Avery scored on four long passes against Mitchell, I'd like to watch that game from start to finish just to find out how Mitchell didn't win by 40 points lol
Not sure what Avery has, but SS is a very athletic team and can make big plays fast. Probably a power team versus a faster team. I would go with SS by 3 TD's or more. Tville-Rville will be a good game as they are opposite of one another and both underperformed this season but can still be dangerous due to the teams they played and lost too.

Heck Mitchell's first drive didn't even look like they were running hard and they scored easily, should have been 14-0 to start if Mitchell didn't fumble.
I personally think East Bladen will beat North Duplin in the 2nd round
West Columbus fan here. I know we’ve been quiet this year. It’s been a rough year after losing 18 seniors and injuries and hurt us. I agree that East Bladen could possibly beat North Duplin if they are healthy. They have struggled with injuries this season too. I was hoping Pender could have gotten a higher seed. I personally think Pender could be the second best team in the 1A East and could possibly be competitive with Tarboro if they keep mistakes to a minimum, but it would take an almost perfect game to do that. I think a Pender/ Tarboro matchup could have been a better 1A East Regional Final than Tarboro against a North Duplin or Wilson Prep, but we will see. Best of luck to you all. I enjoyed seeing the positive interaction between our players and coaches with you all’s players and coaches after our game last season in the 1A East Finals.
South's QB has the ability to extend the play very well. Their OL is not great but he makes up for it by being very slippery. He is looking to throw usually when he moves and breaks the pocket. He is still 70% eyes down field and trying to find an open receiver, and he his WR's are good at breaking off routes and coming back to the ball.
I have never seen a team from Mitchell play hard. They usually out athelete teams. Mitchell has been extremely lucky the entire conference has been down for years. I have a feeling this run has come to an end. Hope I’m wrong. Love the area. But rumors….. are not good.
