Prep will just reload most of this team was varsity for 3-4 years. Just like Atkins the train will just unload some more players

Lol no it doesn't lol. Albemarle lost 7 players from last years team. 3 freshmen got a lot of minutes all season 1 started. Swain played a great game but Albemarle didn't play well and their youth showed.

Tough loss for swain tonight and they did a great job the other night. Hats off to them. I really like that #30 for swain!! With some development she will be a huge player moving forward. Definitely has the intangibles to be a special special player.

But that game didn't say anything. Alb is young and inexperienced. They will be better next year but probably 2yrs from making another run. They have a great core of young players 2 of which were out sick. It was a great learning experience for the young kids who have a lot of potential.

SD is a very disciplined team with a lot of experience. I'm not surprised they are playing well this year. I haven't seen Cherokee or SD play this year but I think it could be a good game but not sure either.

Actually it does make a statement. Swain is also young with 0 seniors. Is the statement about the SMC or Albemarle?

That game showed nothing really. Swain played a good game I was really impressed with the new transfer they got in. If she continues to develop wow will she be a player.

Like I said Alb was very young very inexperienced. They lost 7 of their 9 main players from last year. Every player on that roster was in a new role 4 freshmen on that team as well. Was also missing 2 of them 1 of those started through the conference tournament

To sum it up Swain played a really good game fought hard and deserved to win, Alb didn't play well and therefore didn't deserve to win. I think Alb will be alittle better next year but the following year is when I think these young kids will hit their stride. Remember this is a traditional small town school where every player on this team plays 3 sports and it just takes time.

The two girls they lost that were planned to return one went to North Meck and the other graduated early to start college early. They both would have helped out tremendously but it is just the way it fell into place. I will say these freshmen for Alb are ball players. It will be great to watch them mature and grow most definitely.
