Fairmont will get back on track next Friday Night and will cruise to a victory. The Tornadoes are not scoring as much as they have been and their defense has gotten worse, but you had better not count them out. I do not think they finish in the top half of the conference right now, but they may get better as the season goes along. Caulder has thrown for 800 yards almost and 6 touchdowns. There is no way South Brunswick can defend their athletes. Fairmont 30 South Brunswick 14.

Fairmont get their first win and gets on a roll after this game. Gotta make the defense pick it up a notch though.

These teams are awful. Fairmont can't stop anybody and South Brunswick lost to Pender ..... By 22 points.

Whiteville and South Columbus only 2 schools in conf. that can compete this year.

Man,can anyone figure this Fairmont team out! If they ever hit full stride with their offense, they could be nasty. Give up 50 score 51 still win.

I hear that they are very weak up front on the offensive and defensive lines. Someone told me that they lost a lot of starters on the offensive and defensive line and that they had to replace almost their entire defense. They have the best skill guys around, but the battle in football is won up front.

Where is Fairmont's head cheerleader. Maybe he could shed some light on the subject but he has disappeared. He
has quite slumming in the 2A and gone back to the 4A threads. When Fairmont wins this week if they win he will suddenly
appear.

TO ALL MY FANS
As the Midget Mexican that I am I have felt beaten, thrown, thumped and flipped all over the place this pre-season.

I cannot say much, post much or breath much. I am sadden to know that most of our skilled players graduated and in saying that, we have a brand new squad with brand new experience. The experience is young and may take til next year to gain momentum. My love for Fairmont is here, but I must say just like my nephew Rufus told me, at no fault to anyone we lost some great lineman who have been very very very tough to replace on both side of that brown extra large egg and lost them key players who held strong for us on defense.

Since my brother Rhett went to the Bahamas, I will say what he told me about summer practice. What he said was disturbing but I guess I trust him telling me the truth. He stated that discipline was an issue this summer and on to the beginning of the season. This became to turn into a huge setback which now the results are showing. In a long distance call and while bragging about his adult beverages in the Bahamas, he also stated that he will be surprised if we win 6 games

Please excuse my absence but I have been throwing up in the bucket next to my wooden bed.

If some of the posters don't think Fairmont will be back prior to playoff encounters, perhaps those individuals should cut back on the Frozen Bong Water Smoothies. We Fairmont Tornado fans are a resilient, persistent, and very hospitable group, but come playoff time, we, even as far as the Triad, we tie down our mobile home lodging facility, the big trampoline that an inebriated Uncle Herman insisted on buying the family last Flag Day, and we always make damn sure all the spare tars are tied down prior to the Tornado's sustained winds. Confusious once told me, he took a big ole' drank of some kind of English meade, all that meade shyt all over his beard, and he says, " He who laughs first laughs loudest, but he who laughs last brangs home the bacon. " I think some of you gentlemen will be as surprised as the day Eddie Haskel mistakenly walked in on June Clever as she was exiting the shower, sans towel.

Fairmont will be fine...They will get back into their stride. May not be the top team in the conference but they will be able to compete.

This I know
I have recently sat down with Vernon, Rufus, Sterling, Rhett and Sawyer

Vernon who is head janitor at The Public Schools of Robeson County told me there are some adjustments that needed done and from him talking to the staff, it is happening as I type my "gibberish" mess.

Sterling who currently works for a Law Firm in the local county is making a judgement based on last years offense. His prediction is one that I trust and we will just keep it at that or else I make break the law.

Rhett our small town traveler who as you'll know went to the exotic island in the Bahamas, just made in to Raleigh International Airport....and yes I was the chosen one to pick him up. Anyhow, this fella is the one with the most doubt at hand. I knocked him into next week

Sawyer, he is our devoted historian in the family. He has been through the history books at the Fairmont Public Library located up-yond which traces back to Booker T. Washington and Julius Rosenwald has been a school of pure History. He said this group of kids and staff are the best Fairmont has ever had so dont complain about nothing.

Rufus, this is my right hand man and I trust all his words. He said Fairmont does not give up, shut up, or throw up. They keep running until they find a way, a day and a win. They will be back stated Rufus...
