I know the guys from Clinton usually create this but I couldn’t find it. Does anyone have updates on what is going on tomorrow night, predictions, game of the week?

James Kenan defeated Goldsboro 29-24 Tuesday and plays Midaway Friday, Wallace travels to Spring Creek, ED plays Goldsboro, Clinton is off.
Dark Horse football radio network will be traveling back to Midway on friday to cover the Midway vs JK game since Clinton is on a bye. So if any of you can’t make the trip to watch your tigers play tune in and listen to the game. Pregame 6:30 Kickoff 7pm.

The Raiders were handled by Clinton on Monday, but showed some bright spots behind the arm of QB Carson Calcutt. If JK doesn't have a good secondary, it might be a long game for them. Otherwise, I think JK will win 30-7.
Wallace vs Spring Creek
Not much to say about this one, the Bulldogs win by whatever score they want.

East Duplin vs Goldsboro (Game of the Week)
Goldsboro has improved from last year, and still have Xzavior Bowden at RB. But I don't think they have enough weapons to defeat the Panthers. ED wins 35-14.

Midway has a QB that can air it out, just either overthrew his receivers, or they dropped passes. Running game is not impressive, at least to me. Defense could not stop Clinton's ground game.
JK run defense was looking really good on Tuesday night. JK secondary has speed but is always a work in progress. Don’t think Midway will be able to run the ball at all on us. I was very proud of how we kept Bowden in check and our ability to create turnovers.
As far as the offense goes our O-Line has got to improve and we have to establish the run game. A team with a good D-line would be able to have their way with JK. Hopefully what I saw from O-line Tuesday was just some rust. JT Avent has continued to impress me all year and I don’t think teams can prepare for him going off a scout team QB. Deceptive speed and a knack for keeping plays alive to create positive yardage. We have athletes and speed that will be too much for Midway. We get the O-line figured out and a few more rushing yards out of RB and we may have a legit shot at giving the top teams in conference a scare. I’ll go ahead and say JT Avent is the best QB in conference. JK 42 Midway 14
I agree with assessment of JK quarterback. Was at game Tuesday night and he was like a Houdini making plays and throwing the ball.
I think JK can scare folks on offense but I would be concerned about the defense. Made no sense to me why Goldsboro didn't try and run more. No way I would be in a spread offense with the Bowden kid. Put him in a wing t or I and give him 20-25 touches. I think it will be very difficult for JK to beat WRH, Clinton or ED because those three teams should be able to sustain drives and keep Avent on the sidelines. Still. JK is very much improved.

Bowden looked severely out of shape I think JK did good against run and #4 for them was beating our #1 several times. My observation is Goldsboro’s coach made poor decisions the whole night. Several questionable decisions he made
You sound as if you think Gboro might upset ED. Is that what you were implying by saying the only game creating interest? I will be there tomorrow night and I'm not expecting an upset.
I have to agree with him if i had to choose a game to go to tomorrow night it would be ED vs Goldsboro....ED is going to win ED should win but it has the potential to be the best game of the night
Not expecting a upset at all. Just that WRH and JK games should be over by half. Not any good players on Midway or Spring Creek. Interest in Bowden thats about it. ED should win big.

Our varsity wasnt able to find a replacement game to fill this open week but JV were able to schedule a 2nd matchup with East Bladen last night winning 28-6 again(same score from first meeting)
ED is slow is about like you saying that JK will win conference.

Speak-in-the-mic, I saw Dr. Ward while he was at Union in 2005 punt the ball on 3rd down twice against WRH. He had his team punt the ball on 3rd down two times. Lol. It wasn't a mistake they did it more that once in that game. Can you explain that to me. I'm still confused after 13years. Lol. And this was not near the end of the game. The only thing I could imagine he was thinking was Wallace wouldn't have anybody back to return the punts. Needless to say Wallace won the game.
Sounds like a good game....Goldsboro one of those teams if you dont show up they can sneak up on you....im kinda nervous for next week honestly just being honest

5 point loss to JK 7 point loss to ED...Goldsboro definitely proving they belong in the convo definitely not a push over......Next Friday will be a good measuring stick...like i mentioned before i would be lying if i said i wasnt a tad bit nervous....after going 0-2 this week 2 hard frought games they going be hungrey and motivated we better bring our A game and not sleepwalk like we did in the first quarter Monday
ED had one TD called back a “holding call”. Offense played sloppy. Goldsboro did a good job stacking the box and slowing down our run game. The spread offense the Cougars is deadly. So many options to give the ball to.
#4 from Goldsboro really impressed me tonight. A do it all guy that will go up with anyone to catch the football. He looked like Randy Moss on 50-50 balls tonight. Simply out jumping the defender.
All in all, Goldsboro is not a bad team whatsoever and they will surprise people this season. East Duplin has a lot of work to do if they want a shot at winning the conference again this year.

While it is true ED had a TD called back due to holding, they scored two or three plays later on the same drive so I don't see how that any bearing on the game one way or another.

After seeing both ED and Goldsboro this season, I thought this game might be close. ED will have trouble with teams that can mix their offense and spread them out. ED does not have the athletes on defense they have had the last 2-3 seasons and as a result, will find it a big challenge to limit big plays especially in the passing game. ED is also limited on offense. I have not seen a running back with breakaway speed and the passing game is suspect at best. The special teams are also not as good as recent years. Not to say ED isn't good because they are, they just have a much smaller margin for error than the last few seasons. They are very fundamentally sound and are coached very well.

It was just a suggestion as to the type of player he is. I didn’t say he was the next Randy Moss. But in the aspect of being able to win 50-50 jump balls, he out jumps people in the way Randy Moss did. Take a chill pill dude.
At union, his first game, I saw him have his FG kicker have the ball snapped and placed on a tee like he was attempting a FG although it was from his own 30. Now they gave the ball to the other team where the ball ended up, but I still to this day cannot understand how that just isn’t a missed FG and the opposing team getting the ball at spot of union LOS. Try figuring that out. It’s not deemed a free kick is it? Who says u have to punt it that way. He is extremely smart man, so much so, he does things we think are crazy and didn’t even know we’re still within the rules. LoL.
