Congratulations to Clinton on back to back conference championships. That was a big win and to be able to say you won the ECC 2 years in a row is quite the accomplishment.

Clinton technically hasn’t won anything yet, we still have to be at JK and Midway. Lose to Midway last game and Midway win out there will be a 3 way tie with WRH. I think our horses will ultimately win out but let’s not put the cart before the horse.

We play thr games for a reason and we still got 2 of them left......next game is the biggest game gotta keep that mentality i dont expect JK or Midway to simply lay down......that game Nov 8th vs Midway could be better than some expect...amongst the younger generation this is becoming a bigger rivalry and i think Midway will come into that game upset minded......still too early to be crowning conference champs

I understand y’all wanna take it a game at a time and be humble but the reality is Clinton has locked up home field advantage until Eastern Final and unless the bracket puts y’all playing WRH in a early round the road to State Championship will be fairly simple.

Clinton will beat both Midway and JK by 40 each probably. Lol y’all are conference champs and everyone knows that. I understand y’all wanna take it a game at a time and be humble but the reality is Clinton has locked up home field advantage until Eastern Final and unless the bracket puts y’all playing WRH in a early round the road to State Championship will be fairly simple.

Most times the simplest things are the hardest. Am sure we will see Clinton/WRH around game 3-4 in playoffs. We will be one of if not the Simplest Teams there ....

SWO would beat Midway by a couple of TDs. Based on stats, ED ran all over Midway, was ahead 24-13 with the ball inside the 5 and turned it over in the 4th.. As is usually the case, their lack of pass defense let them down. SWO should be able to run at will on Midway. I would not be shocked to see Goldsboro win Friday, but neither has anything for SWO this year.

Regardless SWO is ZERO factor in the Eastern picture for the next month and a half. There are 2 teams in the ECC with legit chances at making it to the State Championship and I’m 100 percent sure either Clinton or WRH will be the team that wins the East. Clinton put themselves in the drivers seat Friday night. The loser of that game knew the road would become much more difficult than it would be for the winner. And if WRH gets put on the opposite side of the bracket of Clinton we will see Clinton play WRH again for a trip to the Championship on the line

SWE definitely would be but HC no chance. They just lost at home to Currituck and we're trailing NE 14-0 before Eagles lost starting qb. They are fun to watch though, the qb loves airing it out to his big receivers.
